I get it you’re either in or you’re out. If you’re no longer a royal, then you don’t get any of the benefits that come with it.

As I understand it though, they just wanted to step back from senior status and do the kind of work that the minor royals do, but for told to do one.

Also, I do think that because of their high profile, an exception should have been made around their security. Or at least some transition planning ahold have been put in place.

It’s not like they are some minor gentry associate like Earl and Viscountess Pissyhorseflaps who nobody in the street would recognise.

They wanted to stop working as royals but use the titles to make money . It is basically one or the other .Absolutely nothing stops them making money due to the fact they were royals but they cannot continue to use the trappings to do so .

The pair of them had been planning it for some time and Harry must have had a fair idea how this would turn out considering his uncles* experience .

*****ed if i can remember his name but he was the youngest ..

Maybe. But there’s a model there for how the minor royals operate. So I guess they were within their rights to think they could adopt a similar role.

If Don Lizzy was going to simply cut them off and remove their finance and security, you would have thought they would have done it in a transitional way. From the sounds of it, they just let the axe fall and caught Harry and Meg totally off guard, with no security and their location exposed by the **** rag that is the Daily fail

H&M were like the Brexiteers who claimed we could leave the EU but still keep all the benefits and seem surprised to find real life ain't like that .
anyway I'm off to walk the little fooker who would make a great Royal as she contributes **** all and costs a bleeding fortune .

I dont give a **** about the Royal Family. I dont hate them, and I dont like them. I am completely indifferent.
They can all live forever, or all die this instant and I dont give a **** which.

There's likely wrong on both sides. Were the Royal Family a little iffy about letting a mixed race, american TV actress who had gotten her baps out on TV into their family? Probably, they are a centuries old, white, elitist organisation full of stuffy old traditionalist ****ers, so yeah it likely raised some eyebrows and and a few comments.

On the other hand, is Meghan a ****ing woke ass hat? Yes. And she clearly turned Harry against his family, rightly or wrongly.

Total Wid tho :p

I wonder if he's still allowed to keep his journo's title after walking off, I wonder if he's still allowed to draw his wages for walking off set and not doing the job that he's paid to do. Majority of what comes out of his mouth is hate, he then feeds it to the British public, in the same way they do with their daily rags.
