I'm with you, Rufflad. There's an outside chance I've got a ticket. I don't mind it when I'm there. It's watching it on telly that's agony.

Yeah. In your biggest game of the season, forget supporting your team. Abuse the oppositions best player...that's it.

last time I went to OT for this match all we did was shout Chelsea rent boy at gerrard for 90 mins (was when he was going to leave for chelsea and the shirt burning incident outside anfield which no scouser admits to happening) ... together with 'whats that coming over your missus ... its a bouncer'

He had a shocker of a game..

I just think with the experience Ferdinand has he will be able to deal with a cheat like Suarez. Evans is quite rash in the tackle and I can see Suarez pulling him all over the place. I wouldn't mind Smalling in the middle but that would probably mean Valencia at RB.

I have a feeling one of Young or Nani will be dropped in place of Park. I hope not though. He wasn't great when he come on against Basel at all. Looked very unfit. We would benefit having Young, Nani and Rooney on the counter attack.

There are so many options we could use. Rooney could play just in front of a two man midfield (Fletcher and Jones/Anderson as we know he likes to drop back and help out so play him in the hole (Gerrard's hole), dropping back and linking up with a front man Welbeck/Hernandez.

Either way I can see Carrick, Anderson and Fletcher and if Carrick plays.

    Game over for me.

Star player handing in a transfer request = Big deal
Player's DAD maybe being involved in a betting scandal = not a big deal.

irrelevant really, its an opportunity to wind up one the opposing teams players presents itself then its going to happen.. I think if rooney gets abused he is more the sort to react an play well... its whether any of the players wind him up he may react..

remember the days of Ruddock winding Cantona up to get him to react an he did more often than not.

Alright RHC. Likewise - always nice to bump into a friendly soul that can construct entire sentences.

You are truly the elite! :)

I been around. Thought I'd come n rectal temp the buzz for saturday. (Being "confident" always gave me the heebs over this one. You know what they're like. Spent most the 90's outplaying them and coming away with nothing didn't we?)

Another thing that makes me happy/nervy...realised the other day, I have no idea what our best first XI is these days. Not a major factor imo - squad's where it's at right?)

Anyway, here's to new beginnings Hadron, good lad. YNWA.

As RHC points out, I have been "out the game" fer a bit.

Noticing, seeems to be de rigeur - calling Suarez a cheat.

Heh. Pretty worried then. Got one thing right.

Heard Rio ain't tweeting this week. Hands keep shaking.

Bit extreme, I know, but we could get back to football.

    S'kinda why I came...

    ---LUCAS - ADAM
    -----GERRARD

    --BELLAMY SUAREZ
    -----CARROLL

Think this what I'd like to se. Devoid of width tho. So mi alternative....

    ---LUCAS GERRARD
    KUYT---------DOWNING

    -----SUAREZ
    -------CARROLL

Either way, it's a scumbatterin but if I'm completely honest, can't decide which I prefer. Start by swamping the midfield - A. Evaluate, then try the width - B.
