Anyone else getting sick of hearing how tired the Liverpool players look just because they’re ****?

today the commentators said “oh Salah hasn’t tracked his runner. Must be down to tiredness”!!

they’ve played around the same (if not less) games than us this season and haven’t had the training issues we had with COVID and pretty sure they haven’t had an injury list like ours either! Yet everyone makes the same excuse fir them!!

    The whole thing is ridiculous.

Fulham totally outfought and outplayed them but the emphasis was all on Liverpool.

If Klopp is so close to his mam he should've managed one of the many clubs in Germany.

Being away from your family is a choice ...

... as is running around on a football pitch to be paid millions <doh>

I don't watch much football apart from the lads, so didn't see the match. But from your comment the latest excuse sky etc have given is Klopp is missing his Mam?

It's the general feeling in some parts.

There was a candle strewn thread on RTG about how unfair it is that he can't go back for her funeral and how he should get special dispensation.

My new grandson is a month old tomorrow and I won't get back until May ...

... my choice, I came to France for work.

Is this another 'poor liverpool' story? Cos I'm sick of the slavver that surrounds them, as far as I'm concerned, City put a great run together which blew them out of the water, and they've collectively spat their dummies out, like the self-entitled prats they are. Every club has had to deal with injuries , suspensions and Covid cases, and others have just got on with it. why do Liverpool always want to be a special case? They are the Mags of Merseyside.

City are simply better than them.

I thing Pep is overrated as a gaffer, but he is very good, and he does adapt. Klopp hasn’t.

Liverpool will be strong next season again, but they will be weaker than City and they need a plan B.

    ‘tiredness’ is bullshit.

Pep was classy as **** after they lost yesterday, surprisingly so.

The Mags are more fickle than that. If they were doing as ****e as they are under Benitez, they would have put it down to Ashley or injuries to key players like Wilson, Almiron and St Maximum. Now they'll just blame the pie eater.

It is surprising mate, because normally he spits his dummy out.

He does, and I don’t mind that, winners shouldn’t accept defeat.

He just looked like a fella who knows he’s got is sussed, they’ve been superb after a Rocky start, they’ve got players who can change roles at will, they can play possession or counter.

You’ve got to credit them, United did a fantastic job in them, but my god they are good. I fancy them for CL this year, they’ve just got so many ways to change it.

There's no doubt mate, it's their title, and they will deserve it. It seems that OGS knows how to set up and play against Citeh, where others don't have a clue.

United are very close to very good. Must be frustrating for their fans.

Wasted all that time chasing Sancho when if they’d signed a top CB and a top striker they’d be right up City arse.

You need real pace to do what Utd have done to City a few times now. Rashford, James, Lingaard for a bit and occasional others are all either really quick or faster. You need bollocks as well mind to go chasing them about deep in their own half.

That's true mate. City strengthened at the back, which is what they needed to do and it's reaped dividends.

I agree it must be really frustrating for United fans. They seem so inconsistent. For example, Martial on his day is immense, but he doesn't have enough of those days.

Aye Martial could and should be one of the worlds best.

    He just can’t be arsed.

I still remember that game we drew with them, Adam Johnson's last game.

Sky were banging in all through the game how little rest the Liverpool team had gotten before their last match as it was only 2 days between or something. No mention that Sunderland had only had 2 hours more, additionally the difference in options to rotate the squads weren't exactly equal.

They lick the hoop of those top teams that fanboys and foreigners pay to see.
