Think Dele has played well enough to start again...but we have got a game on Thursday and then the NLD

I dunno. Our best midfield playmaker dropped for a player who has already been dropped into obscurity, whilst the other midfielder remains in poor form. Our second best attacking creator dropped for the third winger. It's pretty ****e. Hoping Palace will be as ****e as Burnley and Sheff Utd were.

I thought he'd rest more players, to be honest. Not sure what this says about Thursday. Might risk a weakened team in that one.

Weaker starting XI perhaps, but a bench ensuring that EL
tie will tie done and dusted by the 2nd leg.

    Can't see it.
Palace will be up for it. They have a strong bench to change things.
They can always be tough opposition and when better than against us.

    11/2 . Very decent odds

Dele dropped for Lucas ain’t a biggy for me, Lucas has done well in recent starts.

Dele should’ve started over Winks though if Ndombele was being rested. He can and has played CM before and against Palace we should be the team dominating possession and play.

Surprised Kane, Son and Hojbjerg are all starting though, all three were so leggy against Fulham, Son and Hojbjerg in particular have looked leggy in other games recently too.

Can only imagine it’s gonna be a proper rotated side on Thursday against Zagreb because it’ll be crazy if we play a strong team in that with the NLD a few days later.

Changing 2/3 players always seems to be the sweet spot, unless you're going for a full switch, like we did in the Europa earlier in the season(with pretty mixed results). My issue is 100% w/ who was taken out and how that leaves us toothless if they sit back against us.

Oh my word !!!. Have we really given up the chase for a top 4 finish ?.

Starting line-up seems to leave Spurs a bit open down the right side.
That's precisely where most of their goals have been made this season.

Going to be interesting - If Palace turn up.

    Well ! well ! well !.

Wait until Davies comes on to partner Harry, rather than letting Vini on the pitch...

Riedewald avoiding a yellow by fouling Moura really early. As is tradition.

Not Sonny's strongest point, should be 1-0

Lovely footwork by Bale. Son should put that away, but he's **** in the air, so that's a decent header for him.

Kane's dropping too deep when we've got the ball forward slowly, for me.
It's fine when we're breaking, but I'd prefer him in the box if we're crossing it.

Or in the stands, if it's Doherty.

Alright the Winks experiment has run its course, can we get Tanguy or Dele on now and have a forward thinking player in midfield, please.

Kane to Bale. 1-0. Lovely. Forces Palace to be more open

    Get in!

Great closing down by Lucas and good play from Harry into Bale.
