It's easier to build in the PL. Less lost money. However, as long as we're rid of Charnley, Ashley and Bruce, I'd be happy in League 2.
I don't agree. This relegation will see us finally die just like other great club like Sheff Wednesday and Nottingham forrest. You won't like that at all

Don’t forget the Freeport of Newcastle is important to KSA who have a huge strategy on shipping. They also see redevelopment of Newcastle and the quayside as real estate investment. Newcastte is just a part of it.
Exactly. PIF/ KSA want us because of what they can do for the region and what the region can do for them. Ashley's statement - investment in the region is telling. It is not just the football club.
