In a few years he'll be worth more than 10 million. :)

Evans is just having the usual second season blip. He's good enough to pull through it, and long term Smalling and Evans could be an awesome partnership, worthy of the red shirts.

Evans was poor last season too. I remember one particular nightmareish game against Everton away. He needs to be sent out on loan next season to get some confidence.

He's spent two seasons out on loan at Antwerp and Sunderland. He just seems to lack concentration and composure at the moment - every so often he seems to have a game where he just can't do anything right. I'm confident he'll come through and get more consistent over time. If he's the long term replacement for Vidic he still has time to develop his game. Meantime he's good enough as a 4th choice CB.
