Good money since yesterday evenings opening show. He is yet to transfer his level of ability on the flat to the hurdling game but if he does then he is absolutely thrown in. The yard has been in rude health for a good while now and had a very comfortable gamble landed yesterday.

There seem to be a number of these bonuses (or is it boni?) knocking around - Plumpton used to offer one (I remember Alan KIng used to like to have a go at that one) and Musselburgh at the weekend had one to - 100K I think for winning there on Saturday and then scoring at the festival.

No market yet on the Imperial Cup - any whispers out there?

You’ve named the one I like today at Huntingdon. Owners switched horses to yard and have got the worst jockey riding off its back!!

Let's face it I couldn't do any worse if I had the job. Think the appointment was made with League One football in mind. Planning for next year and resigned to the inevitable rather than fighting for survival. Another grim few years ahead I suspect. Mass clear out, reduce wage bill. Re build (again) and try get out of that awful league

I can't be arsed with football since Covid started - without the crowd its like watching a training match and I think that has affected so many teams. Wednesday seem to have no fight left, as you say. From the very top to the very bottom of the club. Embarrassing really.

We managed to get from L2 to Championship without spending a penny on player acquisition. This year we spent a massive £100,000 on transfers. When we played Watford, just one of their players cost £25m <yikes>

We have a fantastic manager, and assistant, fantastic owners and fans. Whatever team we put out they all give 110% but, unfortunately, we just aren't good enough for this league

    See you in League 1

Yep, agree there.Things are just not the same without the spectators, it's all very eerie. Seems my old QPR do well when they take their Wheaties, and bloody badly when they forget them. I like Warburton, the manager, always stays relatively calm and his online comments are pretty good. Wish he was a bit more 'adventurous', if that's the right word, but quite honestly think he gets the best out of what he's got. Person responsible for the temporary 'to end-of-season loans' deserves a medal, as the loan players have been a godsend, Charlie A., in particular. <ok>

    17:00 Sedgefield - Let's Sway

(Should give a decent account in this company. 15/2 best price at the moment with Bet365. I'll probably have to be satisfied with around 7/1 from my bookie. :emoticon-0100-smile Trappy race, though, and have often found this track a tricky one too.)
