Normally a thread like this wouldn't get as many replies, you can tell its international week! I'm reluctant to clog up our board with more pointless articles (take heed Tash) so thought I'd just post this here - who are everyones favourite comedy characters of all time? There was a poll recently and Homer was #1, hard to argue with really but I think my vote would be for Arnold Rimmer, with Oz Ozborne, Del Boy, Barney Stinson and Alan Partridge close behind!

My favourite characters in no particular order
Patsy.....Absolutely Fabulous
Navid....Still Game
Lord Flasheart....Black Adder
Julio Geordio.../ Any character played by Paul Whitehouse
Nessa....Gavin and Stacey, Ruth Jones steals the show for me.

Am i the only person to have seen black books ?

Nah I've seen it Freddd. Some truly brilliant episodes. Think it was co written by one of Father Teds writers (don't hold me to that). Great line up and Bernard is a great character. Only did three series from what I remember? Why I don't know because I think it was quite popular.

Aye Dylan Moran wrote it along with Graham Linehan who wrote Father Ted and IT Crowd. IT Crowd is probs my personal favourite out of the 3 but Black Books had some brilliant episodes, the one where they house sit for their mate being a personal favourite :D

I personally loved the one where Manny gets trapped inside after he fails to get the code for the new alarm system. I didn't realise he did IT Crowd aswell, I love that too.
