I think we miss that. The idea of this 4132 is ok but it needs an absolute top class false 9 to get forward and very few teams have that. It’s a bit too fanciful for nufc, but bodies in midfield was always the thing we missed. I think it just magnified how **** Bruce is that he couldn’t see we were getting overrun in midfield game after game after game.

Now we don’t really have a false 9 at all. We’d be better going with some more orthodox style and putting players in position.

2-4-4 Darlow and Dubs to spearhead the attack

That is a decent shout mate to be fair. This is definitely a game for Carroll with his heading ability for attacking and defensive set pieces. Could see him starting Fraser and Murphy on the wings today though.

Yes I suspect it'll be Fraser and Murphy and neither offer anything off the ball.... Dreadful players imo. I like a player that wins the ball or that can keep it.

I'm not sure, but there's been some suggestions he is.

I can see bruve starting Anderson today you know because he's in a desperate situation and he'll be thinking if I play him and he does anything good I'll get lorded by the media.

As long as we get a result. And if we do. Bruce gets the credit.

I can however see Bruce throwing Ritchie in at RW to try and prove a point.

Personally I would sack off Shelvey, have Willock play there. Push Anderson in the middle and Murphy on the right wing. Fraser on the left wing.

Just my opinion. Don't want a discussion about this on a forum <laugh>

The main advantage of playing Ritchie is his defensive work which would help Krafth.

It’s the type of thing he would do. He’s in it for himself.

I felt shelvey played very well vs Wolves otherwise I'd have agreed.

I think we'll get Murphy and Fraser tbh I just don't think we'll be too lightweight..

I don't think people realised how much Joelinton helps out off the ball personally..

He did play ok. But Darlow played exceptional for most of this season but when Dubravka is fit you play him.

Shelvey is a passenger just games and sharing a FatSham side I'd want more than a passenger
