Well it seems to work very well for Brentford.

 

I’m going to try not to get too excited about our recruitment. Vokins was signed by this regime and hasn’t been too brilliant, to the extent we are having to play our worst ever left back ahead of him - so there’s no guarantee who we bring in will be great just because they’re talking a good game (and they are).

 

That's fair comment but I'm fairly sure that our data based recruitment system wasn't in place in January and Johnson and Speakerman were recruiting via their own contacts in the game.
Hopefully in the summer we have a recruitment and scouting set-up in place that suites our purpose going forward that is also data focused.
