Ill be honest, I don't keep up to date with the other teams at this level but why are they so poor recently? Injuries? Suspensions?

He’ll be missed at Wembley, so calm and composed for a young lad still learning his trade. We’ll be talking about his time here 5 or 6 years from now when he’s a premier league player just like we do about Jonny Evans.

might be a stretch but this kid could be as good Virgil van Dyke given how good he looks already.

Transfermarkt or whatever the sites called have him valued at 150K but clearly they're on crack. I would say something just north of ten mil personally in today's market.

Good post, Portsmouth are no better than Rochdale imo.

I agree, he looks like a quality player in the making. Currently in the third tier but with the attributes to shine at a much higher level. Good luck to him and I hope his star rises with us.

Well, an enjoyable 3 points and results going our way in a few games. Who would have thought after that miserable defeat at Shrewsbury that automatic promotion would be in our hands.

Massive games coming up at Hull and Peterborough, as well as the home game with Lincoln. Come out of those games with 5 or more points and we are looking good

Today wasn't a classic performance, but how could it with our 1st choice back four all out, not to mention most of our deputies.

Sanderson and O'Nien were outstanding at the back, even making up for McFadzean's usual horror show. Younger looked tidy and made some vital interceptions/blocks. Jones looked sharp and Leo Wyke got his customary goal

Can I start to dream that we are FINALLY crawling out of this ****ing horrific league?

There must be scouts keeping a close eye on his progress, I’d love to think he’s our little secret and there’s only our bid for him in the summer but I can’t see it. £10m might be a stretch at this stage of his career but he’s definitely going to be that kind of money in the near future.

Does that Curtis still play for them? Dirty as **** and seemingly never gets punished. Cup final he went over the top on Morgan (I think) and took him out just under tie knee with all studs. Nothing made of it by anyone but it was awful. He’ll happily injure someone to make it better for them imo

Early days in Johnson's tenure but just looking at his manegerial record on Wiki and could this be a case of right person, right club at the right time?

He is back on the grass and doing one on one passing drills. Apparently months ahead of schedule but needs a couple of u23 games before 1st team. I'd guess looking at a few weeks

He is like a breath of fresh air compared to Parky. Young developing manager, with developing team and young developing owner. Feels like a great fit

Ronan Curtis, the No 11? I'm sure he does. He got away with some very dirty challenges. Hopefully OBrien and ONien are playing to ruffle him up. and ONien gets atuck into their ponytailed centrehalf

I agree mate, but they will be smarting from today's result, so we'll have to be on our guard early doors. On the flip side, get an early goal like we did today, and their arses could fall out.

Happy days. Solid in the play-off spots. Some younger players coming through. New owner with pots of cash. Manager who seems to "get" the club.

All we need now is bums on seats when the lock-down ends and this could be the start of the long way back.
