Should win at Portsmouth on Tues now but we are Sunderland ! still the top 3 to play so in our hands Peterborough to draw with Hull, Ipswich to beat Donny if we win at Peterborough or Hull we might go up. 48 points to play for 30 will get us up. if Jacket leaves we should go for Marquis straight away. Why hate saying it? In my opinion he is a squad player and nothing more. Deffo not my 1st name on the team sheet and not captain material. That should go to Sanderson when we sign him in the summer hopefully. Wright or Willis would be better captains imo.
He's come back really well since being dropped. That's the sort of reaction you want. He most certainly should be left there......can't say the same for McFadzean. He'll cost us points. If we get Wright and Flanagan back, would love to see 09 back in midfield with Scowen, but if necessary he may have to fill in at LB. Unless we play 3 at the back, of course.
We have to have faith mate. We have a really patched up side and we keep grinding out results when other teams are failing. This is starting to feel like the Third Division season when we never gave up no matter what happened ... ... just believe and it will happen.

Scowen takes some stick off a few people but when he came on today he did well. Showed up Winchester who has been a real disappointment for me. Would like to see Scowen in midfield with Power(maybe Leadbitter) and Onien

Winchester looked like he will miss a few games to me - when he went off. Play a CB (Younger) at CB and push O'Nien further forward.

I hardly had a dig at you or the team, think you're building that up to be something it's not for some reason. I'm as happy with the result as anyone. Only a few points away from automatic is brilliant and I think we're going to get it.
Reminiscent of us a couple of years ago. It’s all very well having games in hand, but you’ve still got to go out and win them!
I think we should be sticking with 3 at the back for the rest of the season We have plenty in midfield in front who can cover and play as wing backs
