I completely agree (at least, from Saints' perspective), but you can guarantee that more MOTD air time will be spent on showing, then discussing, the fight, with hardly any time left for any 9-0 mentions, dressed up as predictions for Wednesday. Cynical? Moi?
Its my cousin’s funeral on Thursday. He was a City fan, so they can spank us for him.... our send off for him. I’m doing a reading at the service and will say it’s for him, should that happen.
2-0 going on 5-0. Minamino was my MOTM. But it easily could have been a few others. I continue to be impressed by Tella. The way he was running at Sheff Utd in the first play...please can Redmond and Djenepo both just sit down and watch that on repeat. Very concerned about Ings' injury. But fortunately, with Europe and relegation both in the distance, it hopefully won't be a huge problem. Maybe only in the FA Cup might it cost us.
Sad to hear that. If he was anything like my football supporting family/friends then even if Saints win he would expect nothing less than you to take the p*ss in your reading. Hope all goes as well as possible Thursday.
If Ings can get a few injuries now and decide he night as well sign a new control act that will be fine by me. I am going to watch that football show tonight. The one with the match on from the day. I forget what it is called. Presented by the crisps fellah.
Nope. 99% of teams in Europe would lose to city. I'm a pessimistic realist. I've no problem with losing, I just don't like long losing runs and record defeats! Anyway, not a day for any sort of moaning. COYR
That was a relieving win rather than an impressive one. We were rubbish in the first half. Tella was excellent but having got our noses ahead we seemed obsessed with letting them back into it. The early goal in the second half sealed it. Utd were never going to score twice and you could visibly see the confidence returning as everyone wanted to get on the scoresheet. But make no mistake - this was a poor Utd team bereft of any confidence and ravaged by injuries. We need to build on this before we can march back up the table and that probably starts with Brighton rather than Citeh.
Thought we controlled the game well today with the players really having to dig in at times. The return of KWP gave us much better balance down the right. Not sure whats going on with Redmond, such a skillful player but his lack of commitment in 50-50 situations is awful. Great shame.
So .... obviously Sky don’t consider an interview with either manager important enough .... I bet if it had been Klopp or Jose, they’d have interviewed him!
