    No. These events are for people living in places where they are a minority.

    Plus, white people win MOBOs all the time so how can that be racist?

    The MOBO awards - Music of Black Origin - open to and can be won by anyone regardless of colour

    FUBU clothing - For Us By Us - can be bought by anyone regardless of colour

    BET channel - Black Entertainment Television - it caters for a particular group as do many other TV channels. Oh, and anyone can watch it regardless of colour

    Black History Month - they have a particular history and are proud of it. And yes, you've guessed it, anyone can watch it regardless of colour

    Miss Black America - what's not to like?

    So, no, there is absolutely no racism here.

    i've heard this debate a lot, and i do think if 'black' were substituted for 'white' there would be an outcry. Whether it would be justified or not is irrelevant, it's just strange how society accepts one but not the other.
