Haha. I think I stated that earlier and have it on my predictions. I think I sometimes allow my heart to rule my head. I do however believe at some point we will thrash a team. I hope your right.
I think it shows that LJ rates him. Like I say he does the donkey work pulling CB's about creating space for Charlie.
Thats a good thing when other teams think we are one dimensional with Charlie banging the goals in though.
It's a little surprising that some people are so opposed to O'Brien ... ... Danny Collins has really taken to him and he's a decent judge.
2 wingers (Mcgeady or Jones on the left plus Diamond or Gooch on the right with AOB n Charlie is not a bad forward line.
It is a strange feeling being a SAFC fan and being relaxed on a Saturday fully expecting your team to win.
Ive tried to be humble and respectful to Rochdale but, f**k it, if we don't win I'll be absolutely shocked. Haway the Lads, 3 or 4 nowt surely.
I have just posted how confident I am but no the nerves have now kicked in. I expect us to win comfortably but this is SAFC were talking about.
He is the unsung hero and hopefully he is ok with that, he looks like someone who is. His workrate is outstanding and his knowledge on when to press is great. He pulls defenders out of position and hopefully with intelligent players like McGeady and Jones they will see the space on the inside. Since Johnson has come in he has never let us down. I have one observation about O'Brien and that is I think he is better than he thinks he is technically. I think he could have more confidence in his first touch. At times he seems to be too careful with it instead of trusting the first touch and thinking about the second.
