So 5 festivals, the odd flat race and the finale of the French NH season but I'm not familiar with his entries to Stratford and Worcester.

Surely an operation the size of Elliotts has someone who could potentially step up as an assistant. Or someone will transfer from another yard to take up the reigns. Obviously they will have to apply for the licence but I m led to believe this could be pretty quick if applying on an emergency basis.

With O'Leary's horses staying put and with Cheltenham entries I can see someone being put in place at some point next week. I m sure O'Leary will be making sure his entries won't be missing the Cheltenham festival...

Is the back story out yet ie; who took the photo and how and why did it find its way on to social media?

Of course not, they just said it was a concerted attack on him.

A two year old photo released 2 weeks before Cheltenham hmm disgruntled employee/girlfriend, animal rights person or a bookie or just good old fashioned decency.

But this is not an emergency. An interim licence might be issued to, say, a trainer’s partner if the trainer died or was incapacitated - such as in Kayley Woollacotts case, but I doubt they’d do the same in these circumstances.

Szeezy Foster is taking over, she's a good trainer. The back story to all this and the photo release is a soap opera to be fair. If you play with fire, its gonna burn you sometime. 90% of what's online is fake news.

Presumably O'Leary and others will be fine to keep their horses there for running at Cheltenham..

Morning all. Long long time no see. You don’t call. You don’t write.....

The IHRB ruling is largely irrelevant. His operation, as it was, will never be the same. His largest owner is leaving the game anyway. His next best two are moving out or have moved. No one with a significant sum to invest will put a horse with him. His sponsors have left him. A 6 month ban is the thin edge of the wedge when we’re thinking of the impact on Elliot.

I feel for his staff and I feel for him to a point.

I hope we get to find out who’s released it and what’s gone on behind the scenes because someone was after him. Anyone heard any whispers as to why it was released?

Welcome back to the fore Boston...Good to see you post!

Rumours doing the rounds that photos released following Elliott getting caught out by his partner- was having an affair with one of the stable lasses. Those the only rumours I ve heard as to why photos have suddenly come out now. Hell hath a woman scorned and all that!

In racing where it is often win at all costs for big owners, I’m not sure you will see players like the Morans going elsewhere. If Gigginstown are really leaving the sport (I can’t see it) then that will be a major blow, but I don’t see any issue for GE rebuilding his career with how racing is seen for big paying owners.

He’s lost CPR, but will they take a business decision to have horses with him in the future? I’d assume they would, and then it’s only JP and Bartlett family who would potentially spend big and perhaps not send them to him. Who knows if the they’ve pulled out of the yard or intend to?

If that's the case then he deserves all he gets. Think of all the years his wife has put into their marriage and he just goes off knobbing a stable lass. We are not told about his wife's life crumbling due to his betrayal, we don't hear of her tears. Posted with one eye on International Women's Day this coming Monday <ok>

Without wanting to get my feminist flag out and wave it in your faces :emoticon-0105-wink: I agree with this 100%. I’ve seen several posters on social media trying to pin the blame on Kate for all of this - she’s not the one who sat on the dead horse, that is totally on Gordon and he carries all of the responsibility for what has happened in the last week.

In a patriarchal society this is how things are framed , the male can act with almost impunity , if a woman does the equivalent, she is branded all kinds of names .......so the power relationship is unequal, but other avenues are used as seems the case here.........
