If it’s clear evidence of bias, then why did the High Court rule against the claimant and declare that the chosen arbitrator could remain?

That’s completely contradictory.

NUFC are apparently appealing the decision. It seems that NUFC and the PL agreed on the chair and then the relationship between the chair/ EPL and Bird and Bird came to light afterwards.

I doubt that we have heard the last of this.
