I know you love flat racing Oddy, especially the AW <laugh>

But for such a race there are some nice pedigrees there

ten year olds have a great record in these veterans races and this horse doesn't have huge mileage on the clock.
This seasons form is not inspiring but this time last year he was making all to win a novice handicap by 15 lengths unchallenged off 126. Therein could lie the key as his recent poor run was when held up, he had run too free on season debut so maybe they were trying new tactics.
off 131 today he should have a great chance if allowed to bowl along in front.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Hughie Morrisons OUR JESTER run a big race in the bumper

What's Kelso done different to attract such good fields this year? Normally the Morbattle has a small field with the favourite long odds on, but this year good sized competitive fields in all the big races.

Interesting to see how The Russian Doyen gets on today at big odds. Has left Tizzard who's form was dreadful at the end of 2020, so has dropped down the ratings and could be well handicapped if change of stable works. Could other owners take note if TRD form picks up?

    Other fancies:
    1:50 Big Bite
    2:20 Wynn House
    3:30 Canelo
    2:40 Cloth Cap

surely without knowing the dynamics of their relationship you can’t judge on looks alone ?

    Morning all..bets today:

Newbury 1.50pm Another Crick 10/1 each way 4 places.
Has run well at Newbury before and I thought he put in a very respectable run at Warwick last time behind Two for Gold and Aso. This is a slightly shorter trip and ground will suit so I expect him to put up a bold show.

Kelso 2.05pm War Lord 12/1 each way.
The Tizzards go all the way to Kelso with 1 runner and whilst the stable is very hit and miss I ll take a chance on this fella who has run some good races this season.

Newbury 2.30pm Proschema 13/8 win. Loves good ground and needs to win to get in the County Hurdle. Owner has another runner in race too so should be able to set it up perfectly. Strongest bet of the day..

Doncaster 4.40pm Buzz de Turcoing 2/1 win. I would be more confident if going was soft. Trainer will walk the course before letting him take his chance but he s very well and they think he has a big chance in winning this.

    Good luck all! :emoticon-0167-beer:
