Found this on the BBC sport site: Liverpool and Newcastle legends including Alan Shearer, Faustino Asprilla and Steve McManaman have rolled back the years to recreate the famous 4-3 game from 1996 for charity - but the Kevin Keegan-managed Magpies still could not exact revenge and lost 4-1. I thought this thread was about Dave and RHC for minute then. Was the Kevin Keegan rant after this game aswell ?
I think you will find the match I'm asking about was after the Liverpool vs Newcastle game. So my question isn't even United related. And you call me blinkered So Sorry for your ignorance Dave but my question has nothing to do with United
I would imagine that Dave, like myself, thought you were referring to the rant before your match against them. I don't recall a rant in relation to a game with Liverpool. If there was, you have my apologies.
now in fairness to all concerned it's obvious as the day is long that if you use the term keggan rant you are referring to an exact moment in time and event that occurred that did realte to utd. interestingly the "rant" had nothing to do with a liveprool newcastle game!
Eric. Now I know that my memory is starting to fail but the only thing that I remember about Keegan during the Newcastle matches was his burying his head under his arm. As far as I am aware there was no rant
That's what I'm getting at. I wasn't sure if the rant was after the liverpool game or not - hence my simple question which seems to have been taken out of context. I may post on your board but I rarely take a topic that has no relation at all to United onto a United topic - particularly one about charity. Mybad
For what hammerhead ? It was just a question as I thought it was after the Liverpool game - still not a question about United though. Although if it makes you feel better - I'm so sorry RHC, please forgive me and am eternally sorrowful for any such statements which caused offence * *Disclaimer - I don't mean this if the offence was taken by any Liverpool fans
I hardly think a misintepretation of when something happened (after so long) merits an apology... a red faced smiley maybe but not an apology.
