It's always been bought... Man City just did what they did over a shoter time... This idea that other clubs haven't bought success is a fallacy.
Leicester spent money to get promoted twice, but or went so much better than anyone could've predicted.. They've spent money since winning the premier, but once you're up there you can cash on on players and pick up the players the serious spenders don't fancy. They get next pick which is a good position to be. They've now spent 100 million of a training ground.
Well that ain't happening mate. Ffs maybe a point against villa and brighton is the best we can hope for.
Big games tonight for Fulham and WBA, luckily its Spurs and Everton respectively so can't see either getting much from them but you just never know. Both win tonight and WBA beat us Sunday we'll be in the relegation zone on goal difference with WBA only 3 points behind (with a game in hand admittedly but games in hand are worth nothing until points are on the board). Flip side is both lose tonight and we beat WBA on Sunday while Fulham lose to Liverpool and we are 6 points clear, with a game in hand and an easier run in...
Think Everton and Spurs NEED wins tonight for pushing for Europe - especially Tottenham who'd be 4 points off 7th if the lost tonight - even a draw doesn't help them. It's a funny old game but I think both Everton chasing CL and Spurs chasing any form of Europe need wins tonight.
Everton are soft as ****e mate. They also have a horrible record against the bottom 4 sides. I'll be genuinely shocked if they beat West Brom. Spurs are more likely to win but Fulham won't make it easy for them.
