Don't worry Stroller the future outlook for this country seems to be looking good. Fab article in the times that I will post regarding getting in new hi-tech companies. It's also great seeing the future PM (after Boris's 2 terms).

Have they given you a shhh don’t tell contract yet? If not maybe consider upping your donation

Breaking: US suspends tariffs on UK goods in trade dispute
The UK welcomes US decision to suspend tariffs today on a range of goods, as we agree a joint de-escalation in the long-running Boeing-Airbus dispute.

The Prime Minister Boris Johnson said:
From Scotch Whisky distillers to Stilton-makers, businesses across the UK will benefit from the US decision today to suspend tariffs in this dispute.
It shows what the UK can do as an independent trading nation, striking deals that back our businesses and support free and fair trade.
I now look forward to strengthening the UK-US relationship, as we drive economic growth and build back better together.

International Trade Secretary Liz Truss said:
This is Global Britain in action: securing new opportunities as a newly nimble nation. The benefits will be felt across our nation, especially in Scotland, where Scotch whisky distillers will be able to sell at lower prices in the United States, their most valuable market.
Today’s agreement shows that both the UK and the US are determined to work together to build back better and take our trading relationship to new heights.

What's the boeing airbus dispute that created the tariffs in the first place

'President Donald Trump first introduced the extra measures in October 2019 in retaliation to the EU giving state support to the aviation firm Airbus, which the US said was having a negative impact on America's Boeing company.'

This is wonderful. And with the banning of AZ exports to Australia, Brussels is beginning to make Europe look insular
Goldie every day I check out news and every day there is a story of what the EU is doing wrong. How dare people refer to the U.K. as insular or isolationists. They need to have a quick look at their beloved Brussels commission? What they tried to do to us and what they are doing to Canada and Australia is just another example of how they work.
As you know they are stalling on a deal for our services so they can try and steal business. It’s another cheap trick by a mafia run organisation. It’s good news they were are cutting the strings daily and dealing with new partners.

Vont der liein seems even worse than the drunkard, Junckers. She was useless as a German minister too. This is the concern. Someone senior fails in their own government and gets booted to Brussels as a consolation. Brussels won't get the most talented because individual member states want to keep them!

Just listening to business news and they are hailing Lord Hill reforms and the breaking away from the EU with big companies joining the U.K. listings. I posted a couple of links yesterday.

Where are all the ‘Euro fans’ that spent years calling the U.K. ‘isolationists’ and ‘inward thinking’ when they do this to Canada and Australia? no wonder they have yet again fallen silent as you can’t defend the indefensible... although I think one or two might?

Just wondering......would many on here support any industrial action taken by NHS staff ?
And if I strike was to happen, do you think it would turn public opinion massively against us ?

At a guess, bored of your stupid uninformed faux indignation.
