Are you not contradicting yourself here? Earlier you said that we should only isolate/protect the elderly/vulnerable. Here you are blaming schools being open, having to go to work, protest marches, social events, all of which would have had little effect on the elderly/vulnerable.
Let's all get the vaccine (I have had my first last week) and hopefully gets things moving back to normal.

I had a jab last week (no underlying health conditions and not over 50, so was a bit confused when I got the message I could get it) and it was very similar. Checked in and given the jab all inside of 10 minutes, only had to wait 15 minutes afterwards as it was the Pfizer vaccine just to make sure there was no reaction to it.

The nurse who gave me it said that there'd been quite a lot of people asking why they were getting the jab when didn't have any underlying health conditions, but it seems that they are really ramping it up giving the vaccine out.

sure it was Neil Ferguson, the govt. epidemiologist, he told Boris that if he didn't lockdown immediately we could expect 500,000 deaths. We locked down soon after.

Considering we have had 130,000 deaths despite 3 lockdowns and tough tiers he was most likely right

I had the same for Sunderland a couple of weeks ago. Then I rang 119 could only offer me Middlesborough. Tried the next day and got first at Sunderland but could only get Kendal for the second. Took it thinking that I would rearrange the second but that afternoon got text from GP so cancelled the national one and had local at Pelton Fell. Appt was 12.10, worried about the snow so was there early at 12 and was back in the car before 12.10 although advised not to drive for 15mins. The surgery will contact me when time for 2nd.

Had my jab at the Washington Nightingale yesterday, in and out no problems.

However, today I am definitely feeling a bit washed out and knackered.

Mind having to do phonics and number bonds with a reluctant 4 year old, doesn't help.

Although going on a winning streak does help

    The cricket is as well...

Think it goes on to say they've had someone in their house whose not household or bubble. Probably mostly a quick hello to grandchildren. Again, crap reporting, putting a sensationalist headline to a non story.

Had my first jab today along with the mrs. She's got MS and asthma and I had mine done as her unpaid carer. She's gone straight to bed as a precaution the lazy bitch leaving me with the 3 kids. <laugh>

Pelton Fell was mine as well, being with Sacriston GPs. It seems to depend which day you go as to which vaccine you get. I had mine 3 weeks yesterday and had the AZ, the wife had hers a week later and she had the Pfizer.

Mrs had her first jab about 6/7 weeks ago now, she’s only 27 but is classed as vulnerable. It was such a relief to be honest and a load off my mind. Just before Xmas I was struck down with what I now believe to be flu but at the time thought was covid. The dread of catching it paled into insignificance with the thought of what might happen to the mrs if I passed it on to her...

Not sure when I’ll get my jab, I’m 29 so suspect I’ll be one of the last but there’s no way I’m refusing it. I’m genuinely shocked and saddened at the amount of people I’ve spoken to who are going to refuse it.
