Racist. We are a nation of immigrants. Immigrants run our NHS. You and your ancestors benefit from an evil Empire. If anything, foreign criminals (not that there's such a thing as a foreigner as we are all citizens of the world) only resort to crime because they are made to feel like outcasts by bigots like you. Once again, you are racist.

So, if we go to another country and give them rule of law, health services, railways etc we are an evil empire but the ones who come here are all jolly decent law-abiding citizens. All those Romanians, Albanians etc really want is to do an honest days work but turn to crime only because soje people are nasty to them. Only an idiot would believe that and one does.

Does that mean he has to serve 27 years? Or will he be eligible to come out after serving half?
Whatever, as soon as he is released, the second he steps outside, put him in cuffs, drive him to the nearest airport and put him on the first plane to Warsaw.
Bollocks to his human right's. He forfeited them the second he decided he was going to rape and murder someone. Let the Poles look after him in his old age. £ucking scum bag.

The sentence of life in prison appears on a prisoner's record as 99yrs not as the word life, what the the 27yrs minimum means is, that he wont be consider for parole until he's served 27yrs and then he's not force to get it at the first attempt.

It's a bit of misconception that convicts only 'serve' a fraction of their sentence. They all serve their full sentence, BUT, they can serve some of it outside of prison on license.

Tbh Sounds about right. Though, someone I know, but not seen for a while, convicted of attempted murder served half...

How can a thread like this with a title RIP Libby descend into arguments and name calling, some of it needs removing.

Have some respect.

That's a fair shout, and I did move some posts previously, however the conversation did move on to the Court case, and inevitably to the sentence, so I'll amend the title, and while I don't personally see the need as we have the RIP thread, if anyone wants to create a specific respectful one, I'll make sure it's kept that way.

I also think, as the sentence has been passed, just about all that needs to be said has been, so the thread is liable to drift down of its own accord now.

I think it's in my other pants, the ones that go with my sneakers. Hang, the may be in my bag in the trunk of the car.

PS That other reply was my best John Wayne impression. :emoticon-0106-cryin

Have a good day. Missing you already...
