    True.

The car park was far too large an area to mop in one night :)

What's all this about Toon having some kind of 'hold' over us. As the opening post clearly shows we've beaten Toon more times than they've beaten us, including Lge games as well as overall. So we have more of a 'hold' over them as far as the past is concerned. Moreover, in the most recent past, which is the most relevant we did better than them last season.

Yes, we often struggle at St James', but we often struggle at lots of grounds historically. All the Big 4, for starters.

It'll be a tough game no doubt, but we are well capable of winning there.

If Spurs can manage a win up at Newcastle, it would be the first time the club has won five consecutive Premier League matches since February-March 2010:

    Wigan Athletic 21-02-10 PL 27 A 3-0
    Everton 28-02-10 PL 28 H 2-1
    Blackburn Rovers 13-03-10 PL 29 H 3-1
    Stoke City 20-03-10 PL 30 A 2-1
    Portsmouth 27-03-10 PL 31 H 2-0

The previous sequence of five consecutive Premier League wins came during February to April 2007:

    Everton 21-02-07 PL 27 A 2-1
    Bolton Wanderers 25-02-07 PL 28 H 4-1
    West Ham United 04-03-07 PL 29 A 4-3
    Watford 17-03-07 PL 30 H 3-1
    Reading 01-04-07 PL 31 H 1-0

Thanks for listing all that, NUFC. However, football didn't begin in 1992. We have a better record against Toon overall, and most recently too <ok> We also have more Prem points than you BTW, and more major trophies in the Prem era as well <ok>

Though I agree, up at St James' you have the edge, and it will be a tough game for sure,

You can always do your own research and put your findings up.

If we're going start using time frames that suit, how many cups have Spurs won since you're last? Taking that stupid Intertoto out of the equation of course. Still haven't won the FA Cup since Sunderland did, have you! :D

How embarrassing for you NUFC, the key research was done in the opening post. Maybe you should try reading it before posting. 6061 had already told you that we've beaten Toon more than you've beaten us.

PS we've won 9, yes 9 major trophies, since Toon last managed one in 1969 <ok>

Edit - Sorry didn't see him and then found him.

Wouldn't it be easier to sticky it, Spurf?

So what injury problems do you lot have at Newcastle? I think we only have Dawson, Huddlestone and Gallas, although Sandro pulled out of the Brazil squad so he might be out too.
