We also don’t really want them to go into our game with the confidence off the back of a win considering our recent results.

Jagielka was already past it when we thrashed Everton 4-1 - and that was, what, November 2017 ish?

So in that respect, him missing is nothing to get excited about.

Nevertheless, it's yet another CB missing for them. Their bones are likely barer than even ours.

Sheffield United get their overdue win tonight. They won't win 2 in a row.

Or they'll be knackered after the 2nd half siege. That 2nd half would have drained them physically.

Just watched a game that is a preview of our game. Only we will be playing with 10 men all game. Already said that Sheffield will score early then build the bus depot to get a narrow victory. They know how to throw bodies into tackles and win headers.

But pumped them up mentally, much rather they conceded late on

So you can see into the future? Tonight's result doesn't change the fact they are a really poor side. Freak results happen. There are games where you ride your luck. With KWP and Diallo back we should (and I believe we will) win.

They will be tired, but a positive result like that against the odds can be a big mental boost. Would have much rather they conceeded a late equaliser and have put in the same effort but without the reward. Regardless, we need to show up for the battle. They will not just hand us the points we have to win them.

Still think we'll win and if we score early it will be comfortable. They've got 14 points for a reason.

Can't see into the future but I can remember the past. We are pathetic against teams that put their hearts into the match. We will be brushed aside and lose and will joint Sheffield in the Championship, still blaming refs and VAR. Anything else is a bonus. We are experts at freak results.

Might be a good motivator for Ralph to use pre-match. There can be no complacency from our team and their win tonight may help reinforce that. They clearly haven’t given up so we need to be at it.

Oh for crying out loud. I can remember the past as well. I can't believe some people are suddenly scared of Sheffield United.

Diallo is pretty much a cert as he was training even before the Everton game but seeing KWP is a huge boost.

If those 2 both play then I would be confident of a win for the first time in ages

We've scored 5 and conceded 23 in our last 9. Too right I'm scared of Sheffield United. they don't even have to be good to beat us if we don't change.

play from the first whistle to the last
Compete to win every damn ball.
Some pace and bravery out wide
Take the chances that we always create.
A different def approach on set pieces. All the oppo have to do is set a runner 5 yards out from our line and they will be one on one in the 18 yard box.

I'll sure as heck be sleeping through the game and checking the result rather than watching the match when I wake up. That way I get to jump for joy and watch in peace or just drop my head to my hands and be gutted all day.

I'm sorry but I completely disagree. We're yet to concede a goal from these. And if the opposition set a runner 5 yards in front of our line someone will block the run. I'll give @sotonsaint credit here (I think it was him). He was right and I was wrong the other night. We've done our homework. Without VAR it would be a very dangerous game. However VAR is proving it's an effective tactic and no one has managed to crack it yet. It's not good for the heart rate though!
