I don't even know where to begin with how low the club has sunk. We're a League One outfit in every conceivable way bar actual league position. It's being "run" by Lee Charnley on fumes, we have arguably the worst manager in our history doing what appears to be everything he can to take us down, we have an owner so absent he probably can't even remember what a "Sports Direct Arena" is anymore, terrible players, terrible injuries and our "savour" was Princess Bullshit herself, Amanda Staveley, a known and proven fraud. Now from Puke Edwards there's the wholly unsurprising claim it's "not for sale", because Mike's been given a very brief sniff of a £300m cheque and isn't going to sell for a penny less. What's one measly year in the Champ to a "man" like Ashley? He's put the fans through this **** a hundred times before, one more isn't going to matter. And if he has to keep it on for more than a year, he'll do that. Here's the thing - if we survive, it won't be sold. If this PIF were really interested or remotely bothered, KSA Sports Investments would already exist and NUFC would already be bought. How anyone can somehow ignore this is ****ing baffling. Then we also have to ignore the statement from PIF withdrawing from the offer. Then we look at the comments saying PIF will not be investing in overseas sports. But a few lads online choose to take this particular news as a frankly bizarre "good sign", that they're waiting for PL status to be confirmed (again ignoring the Burnley were bought in a more perilous position without much fuss). I've mentioned the term 'cognitive dissonance' before but NUFC fans take this to new, dizzying heights. Nick's stopped with the bread, and Justin Barnes has somehow told a reporter that the club is "not for sale" - but, wait a sec - I was sure there was an ongoing arbitration about changing ownership, how is it no longer for sale? Unless, of course, a lot of this was all completely mis-read and Mike's been using this as yet another bodyshield for his abjectly poor stewardship. The club is a vomit-inducing cesspit of problems. It is clearly, clearly on its way down either this season or next and the only thing that has ever rung true was Mike stating years ago that he could see himself owning the club forever. I mean, it's a dead thing. Who the **** is ever going to buy something that's dead?
Just explain how Justin Barnes says "it's not for sale" in the middle of an arbitration about changing ownership. FFS man, time to stop, for your own sanity.

Seriously Luke Edward's? He's a major league WUM. Nothing has changed its just common sense that the sales on hold because the value of the club is pending for a mere 2 months. The inte story is bullshit.. Italian press is ridiculous
“To underline how significant this blow is, I’m told this morning all #nufc takeover conversations have been halted by Justin Barnes and the club is, effectively, no longer for sale. ^^^^^^^ I hadn't even read this yesterday, but it's exactly as I would've expected the situation to be. The clubs status and value is pending over a tiny time frame of 8 weeks which in business terms is an incredibly small time frame, so discussions are on hold. It's as simple as that and Edwards of course has used the word effectively not for sale because it is effectively not for sale until either party knows what the value of the club is likley to be. Jesus I'm not the sharpest tool in the box, but I think I've figured this one out.
It's not looking good right now, but if nufc stays up it might be OK. It does seem like they've had enough though doesn't it? I can only imagine how many clubs have said please buy us instead over past year, but the fact they're still after NUFC says alot.
