As far as wumming goes, the "far better under Douche" line is rather old hat though. I'm surprised TC isn't teasing us with the latest story - that Lee Bowyer is a bully who made Jonny Williams cry in front of the whole team in the dressing room (which is why the players have turned against their gaffer) and that Thomas Sandgaard is a weakling if he doesn't fire Bowyer for Gross Misconduct, thereby avoiding having to pay him off. LB's reputation would then be ruined, and of course he'd have to face the might of Sandgaard's lawyers if he decided to take issue. Do try to keep up TC
I am beginning to dread Charlton games. That is why I don't watch them anymore.I can't wait for the season to end. On the pitch it has been a disaster.
That is Old school. If that's the kind of thing Lee Bowyer did to supposedly reduce Jonny Williams to tears, I haven't got a problem with it. My only reservation would be if Bowyer had spoken like that only to Williams in front of all the other players, and not directed any verbals at anybody else. But how likely is Bowyer to do that? Charlton's players should f**king man up. But it doesn't look like they will.
All I know is this is a story that seems to come from a member called Doucher, on CL. Certain folks (including an ex-poster on here) are taking it as Gospel, and saying Bowyer should be sacked for Gross Misconduct.
The great John Sitton. Hard as nails as a player - will never forget his debut for us - great defender. Was mentored by the likes of Chopper Harris, Ray Wilkins and Barry Kitchener - proper old school.
I think that the problem is more to do with what is said and done publicly, rather than in private, and that what is said in the dressing room is now being made public. Doucher also said we are signing a highly rated midfielder this week, so I take what he posts with a pinch of salt.
My Uncle has been told by one of Charlton's management set up that TS and LB have gone from speaking on the phone from 2/3 times a day to once a week. Says TS is very busy with his Company atm.
I removed the relegation reference, but I didn't change the first bit! I was preserving that as a lasting tribute to our beloved Sheriff
