Well, you know what happens next. That kind of poor form needs reversing, we are just that kind of charitable cause.

Couldn't you just have nicked the ball and legged it home? They say crime doesn't pay, you'd have saved us a point.

Gone for a draw. Abysmal home record, visiting team with a diabolical record in 2021. I just hope the usual charity City show to teams on such poor runs doesn’t present itself tonight.

We aren't the only team struggling at home. In the top 6 Lincoln, Portmouth & Sunderland have better away records than home. The lack of support encouraging the team, and influencing the referees, has an impact (*).

Rochdale are better away from home. They have only won 1 game at home this season compared to 5 away.

(*) although listening to all the moaning and groaning at home when there is a crowd one might think we would be better off.

GM should supply a couple of trumpets, a couple of trombones and a set of drums for the lads on the bench in that case. Oh, and a couple of whoopee cushions to intimidate the ref.:emoticon-0105-wink:

Theres a difference between making a score prediction and saying you will take a 1 nil victory .

It doesn’t matter who we are playing , top, middle or bottom, we are struggling against some we don’t expect too and giving others a right good pasting. However the need for a winning run is very much needed, I’d take 1.0 against bottom of the league if it meant 3 points, tonight’s game is another fine opportunity but none the less never easy. It’s about time we got consistency and a few wins on the trot no matter how they come would be nice.

I suspect we'll get the three points tonight .. the key to it is scoring early .. if we do it could be a rout .. the longer it goes the harder it will be for us as the confide ce will no doubt t start to drip from.them. But as has been illuded to ... the next few games will be the acid tests.. managers who figure our tactics out and nullify them .. this is what worries me .. as McCann't isnt exactly blessed when it comes to thinking tactically
