For the neutral it wasn’t a bad game to watch. I think Southampton played some nice football, as backed up by the stats, but had no end product.

 

should have won to be fair. We were terrible/made to look bad by good play from Southampton

 

The heavier schedule is definitely impacting the quality of matches in our dross league so my uninformed theory based on mostly scrolling social media while half-watching Prem games is that the same is happening up there. Hardly ever seem to see a good game any more.
