Putting aside the fact most of that is gibberish, I have expressed my concern about the state of Celtic on this forum many times. The subject at hand, however, is not the state of Celtic. it's the potential dodgy dealing and underhand business deals of one Craig Whyte. Celtic and Rangers exchange titles like Glasgow junkies exchange needles. Rangers going out of business is a different matter altogether and you cannot deflect from that by talking about some problems reported in a tabloid newspaper.
I could say the same to you in reverse. This tax case (with endless rumours reported in tabloids) only deflects celtc supporters from their own problems. Which is nice.
I have seen scant evidence (if any) that Celtic fans are ignoring the problems at home of which there seem to be many, that does not change the fact that we are allowed to have a right laugh at Rangers expense IF it all goes tits up.
Shockeroonie: Celtic are getting royally gaped on the pitch so they put on the blinkers and deflect to Rangers' off field shenanigans. More interested in us than they are in their own team...always has been the case.
Aye, the BBC and producers of Panorama are all Celtic fans. It's all just a big conspiracy by the whole world to stop Rangers winning the mighty league that is the SPL.
To be fair, the BBC in Scotland is brimming with tarriers. Everyone knows that, why do you think their productions are so shoddy? Its also full of useless tossers such as Dick Gordon, Chick Young, Billy Dodds and Jim Traynor. Unless its a national BBC production I dont expect it to be insightful in any way, it'll be based on speculation with more questions than answers by the end. If anyone is any doubt about how dire BBC Scotland is then you only need to compare it to 5live. Night and day. If I still lived in Scotland I'd refuse to pay my licence fee.
Are you denying BBC Scotland is a shambles of a broadcaster littered with piss poor pundits? Pat Nevin can pass off as a bright spark by wearing specs and twiddling a pen. That says it all.
remember some years back the panorama "investigation" into martin pipe's (racehorse trainer) training methods. there was lots of speculation and inuendo at the time from others who were jealous of him. panorama went along to expose all the bad things he was doing to his horses. they could not find anything wrong but they managed to dig up some disgruntled ex employees who were only too happy to say bad things about pipe. in the end the programme was made up of panorama making suggestions about what they thought might have been going on and pretending that this was some kind of investigation. I believe that after a lot of complaints from the pipe team, the BHA, and racing in general, the BBC eventually apologised for the unfounded allegations which they had based on the rumours supplied by people who did not like pipe. it would not be difficult in the present scottish climate to find bigots who do not like or are jealous of rangers and who would only be too willing to run to the BBC (or UEFA) with made up tales designed to cause problems for the club. it would then only take a few celtic fans within the BBC to do their best to convince people that there is a major tale of wrongdoing here and anybody with no insight into the hatred and paranoia of the celtic fan might be misled into thinking they had a major story. once they start making the programme then they will need to justify it by coming up with something. so expect a few "inventions" along the way as they get exclusive revelations from celtic fans and disgruntled ex employees to make it look as if the panorama team were right all along.
It'll be as insightful as that drugs in football disaster that was on channel 4 a few weeks back. An hour of my life to find out Gary O'Connor was snorting. Fuck me
We'll wait an hour for the BBC to leave it all open to interpretation although they'll have you believe Rangers are fucked. They're hardly going to advertise this programme then wrap it all up by saying, "Its alright though cos they'll get off with it." I wont be watching, I try to watch less and less TV these days. So you'll have to let me know how it goes
Anyone remember Dev's 'investigation' into the Knox case and how he got it so spectacularly wrong? I'm surprised he has the brass neck to be posting here so soon after he was shown to be talking out his arse.
