Paul Lambert's left Ipswich by mutual consent https://www.skysports.com/football/...ifferences-of-opinion-with-owner-marcus-evans
Not exactly renowned for his oral communication skills,I think Lamberts version of events would be simplified to 'we fell oot'.
as in 'what's the difference between an Australian marsupial and a Scotsman locked in a toilet' - one's a kangaroo and the other's a kangaroot
I thought his comments about the altercation between Judge and the ref a couple of weeks ago were absolutely awful. He went down in my estimation after that.
Whatever the reason two things emerge. Lambert out thought McCann tactically and did a better job with his limited squad. Secondly the club decided they needed a different manager to push the club into the play offs. Pity the owners look like persisting with McCann if even if he gets us to the play off will be tactically ineffective
Thing is, if McCann gets us promoted , he most likely keeps his job which also means we come straight back down.
Paul Lambert now formally replaced by Paul Cook as Ipswich Town boss one a two and a half year deal. Pity it wasn't us, both the managerial appointment and the sale.
