I personally don't think there's anything bD about the way we're playing since ones came in... Im not Bruce fan, but it's the injuries that are costing us and he's right on that, but I knew the cup runs were a bad thing and I said so at the time and was tore to shreads on here for it... The cups were the only opportunity to rest our key players.
Football is for the optimist, right? I mean with 99% of clubs you approach a match with that funny belief in your stomach you can win the match. Defeat hurts no matter what happens, but for the vast majority lessons are learned and the club strives to be better in either micro or macro steps. Not Newcastle. It's taken a lot of us a LONG time to finally give up, to finally realise there's no optimism here and as has been said in the last couple of pages this is the point where Ashley kills the club stone dead. The players we'll have to sell this time are the ones who'd give us a hope of getting back up. We'll be left with journeymen and dross in a competitive league, with an utter buffoon still in charge and an even bigger moron as owner. But the good news is the pain has gone. It's like having sciatica - not a lot you can do, but in time your brain just "turns off" the offending nerve. I think many of us are now numb to the pain inflicted by Ashley. We're done. Club's gone, and in fact many of us actively hate Sports DIrect United and would be happy to see it go down. I don't know what the solution is - I think it'll just take Ashley to accept he's a complete ****wit and get rid at 'any' cost. To be fair, it doesn't really matter. Until he goes, nobody cares.
I agree, but the fact is there's no issue in the way we're playing we've taken 7 points from the last 12 since Jones came along. We're playing fine, so there's no longer a need to replace Bruce.. Its all about injuries now and changing a manager won't magic them back to availability.
Last 30 yesterday we where shocking mate. Absolutely garbage. But I agree we have picked up points. Still. The end of this season will mark the end of something.
We lost our two best and only remaining attacking players, so the level dropped, however unlike earlier in the season we still created a couple of things and held possesion better.. I'm tired of the Bruce ****e now actually I think the nufc fans are as bad as the idiots on TV. The sides playing better and it's taken a reasonable amount of points since the club made a good decision to help bruce out with the employing of Jones, so whsts the problem now? Being proved right about a petty argument?.
Fulham pick up another point and remain one victory away from putting nufc on the bottom 3.. At least keys and all the other ****s that tuned in with their cocks in their hands hoping they'd win didn't get what they wanted today.
Fulham draw. So nothing lost nothing gained points wise. Couldn’t care less about him to be honest. I just don’t like him. End of story. Bruce’s managerial record speaks for itself. So does the league table. Currently we are the leagues 17th best team. Or 4th worst. Either way. As a football fan wanting a club to do better. There is nothing wrong with that.
I disagree with that notion. We are fans of the club. The ownership is not relevant. In my eyes anyways. Without the fans. There is no club.
It's a shame I think of we'd not lost almiron and max we would've been OK. Fulham have the opportunity to put nufc on 18th Thursday night. I think we have to accept Bruce is the manager and I personally fully believe he and Jones will still be even if we get relegated.
we won't get nothing all season with the injuries we've got.. Might pick up a point somewhere if we get a lucky break..
They're still in it too, but it's like people think they're safe.. Said this last week they've got 4 tough games now so they'll be right in the mix with us come April
I reckon West Brom is win or sack for Bruce. They play on Thursday, then again less than 48 hours later. We have a week to prepare. Absolutely golden chance to go above Burnley, Brighton and probably put 6 points between Newcastle and Fulham. Surely this is his last chance? I don't expect anything more interesting than Jones taking charge, mind, but rather that than sad sack carrying on into the abyss.
