I think few would disagree with that but I don't believe it's a level playing field when it comes to everyone having the same opportunity to obtain and subsequently demonstrate ability.
And it isn't just about race or colour, lots of people don't get a fair crack of the whip. Women, disabled folk, for example.

Equality of opportunity is right, equality of outcome inevitably leads to fewer intended outcomes.

Seeing as 3% of the population is black I think that that is one group that have had,and demonstrated their ability, going by how well represented they are in many areas. In fact they get more chances to do so here than they would in Africa or the Caribbean.
Disabled is one group which could do with more help in some areas, agreed.

    1) Levy is not from Hull
    2) He's actually quite good at his job, hence his longevity in the role.

You're saying this on a thread that mentions Gollum Lloyd.

Kofi is perfectly fine. Let's be honest here - if he was called John Smith, most would suddenly not give a ****.

If he was 'John Smith' he wouldn't even have a job there for us to comment on.

He would if he was good enough.

Kofi's perfectly fine. If he wasn't, and they themselves didn't think so, he wouldn't have the job. End of.

Not that that will change your ****ty views.
