I'm ashamed to admit that I've now slept with a women in her 40's... The Mrs just won't stop ageing so **** all I can do about it
@captain wrong I think this puts an end to your takeover hopes once and for all. A US intelligence report has found that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman approved the murder of exiled Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018. @captain wrong A high-flying city financier now faces paying millions in legal costs after losing her £600million High Court bid against Barclays over the behaviour of the bank's bosses when negotiating investment deals during the 2008 financial crisis. Amanda Staveley, 47, claimed Barclays agreed to provide an unsecured £2 billion loan to Qatari investors - but says the loan was 'concealed' from the market, shareholders and PCP Capital Partners, a private equity firm she runs. The bank disputed her allegations and today succeeded in their bid to have her claim dismissed. Barclays said after the verdict: 'We welcome the court's decision to dismiss PCP's claim in its entirety and award it no damages.' Nope doesn't change anything its old news from 2008 that's been released. The case for arbitration it to prove MBS isn't not involved in the decision making at the club or involved at all. Not sure how when he's chairman, but obviously nick demarco thinks he can win the case.. We will find out, but right now I'm more concerned about not being relegated tbh.
No relevence to nufc remember the deal was already set up and wasn't dependent on a pending court case There's no way of knowing which way arbitration will go.. Its essentially 3 people.. Each party picks one and the 3rd is neutral. I personally can't see how MBS who's listed as chairman of PIF couldn't be linked, but I didbt think oj Simpson would be given not guilty either. We will see what the de marco can do.. But he never loses.
It’s not old news, it’s US intelligence stating categorically that MBS was directly linked to the assassination in 2018 via publishing the report. So much so, Biden is to seemingly now refuse to deal with MBS and will instead speak with his father. MBS is the Chairman of PIF, so the idea that there can be a denial of his involvement or influence is for the birds. As for De Marco, you state he’s never lost a case, which I have no idea is actually true or not. However what is definitely true, is the fact that many of his cases end up with negotiated settlements via arbitration or just direct dealings, all of which would be governed by NDA’s, so claiming all of those as ‘wins’ would be incorrect. As they’ve not been the subject of a defined judicial decision and are merely compromise settlements. You know long one of his cases took via arbitration, right? Try 5 years.
It’s not directly relevant, but indirectly of cause it is. The woman tried to sue a major bank for £1.6BN on the premise that she felt she’d been cut out of a deal that would have earned her a commission. It was an utterly ludicrous figure. Which she then kept revising down when it was basically laughed at as being a genuine loss. I think the end figure was around 1/3rd of what she’d started at, and even at that it was still preposterous. She’s ended up with **** all barring a legal bill that’s likely to run into £M’s. What this case has done is expose her as an opportunist, who was patently seeking an early out of court settlement with Barclays, but then got called clean out, and they’ve said ‘go on then, crack on love, see you in court’. Then think about this deal she set up around NUFC. It took her over 2 years to convince PIF to get involved and she stood to gain a 10% equity stake as her fee. So it’s no wonder she’s tried to keep the dream alive by obvs feeding tit bits to local journos throughout the last year. I don’t believe any of those journos have spoken directly with the Saudis who have genuine influence since the day they walked away from the table, citing the economic impact of COVID. it’s all been her doing, she’s a bullshit artist mate.
She hasn’t even lost that, she’s allowed to appeal again if she can properly instruct lawyers. Their entire case now is based on the fact that she’s 21 and under Bangladeshi law she is now non-eligible for automatic Bangladeshi citizenship. The U.K. courts will rule that she automatically become a Bangladeshi citizen when her British nationality was revoked. There’s no application process, she is effectively Bangladeshi unless she is over 21 or holds dual nationality. It’s written in their own laws. The intention will be to drag this out until she loses hope, and that can’t be too far away now, so hopefully she’ll stick her head under a passing Landrover and we can all forget about this media whore terrorist.
That’s not true. She would have been eligible for dual citizenship if she’d have been registered at birth with the Bangladeshi high commission in the U.K. but that didn’t happen. So the Govt assumption that she wouldn’t become stateless is plain wrong, as confirmed by Bangladesh themselves. I have no interest in the woman tbh, aside from the fact that the way this has been handled reeks, and is a car crash of a precedent. What the U.K. have basically done here, is to say that her right to both citizenship and to argue her case in a U.K. court can be denied, due to the fact that her parents are foreign born. So they've basically created 2 levels of British citizenship. One for the likes of you and I who are U.K. born to U.K. parents, and another for U.K. born citizens who’s parents are originally from outside of the U.K. Personally I think that’s fundamentally wrong, and it’s somewhat ironic, given both of the Ministers involved in this case would fall into the 2nd category. Which given one of them committed actual treason on foreign soil, is beyond satire.
Her parents were both of Bangladeshi origin, which means any of their siblings born outside of Bangladesh are automatically Bangladeshi unless they hold dual citizenship or are over the age of 21. Thus stripping her of her British citizenship age 19 rendered her a Bangladeshi citizen. I think it was explained better on some Amnesty type of site it’s not me just making it up. This is all a media exercise to whip up the public, there’s 100’s of others they’re ignoring but they know her stupid ***** face will get clicks.
Morning. Drove up to Manchester yesterday evening. Was only briefly in stationary traffic at the M5/M6 interchange. One definite thing lockdown has changed is our roads, long it may it continue, made a good change to not be crawling up the M6. Not sure what I'm going to do for a whole weekend now I'm up here, but managed to cane a bottle of red last night.
There’s loads to do bro, I’m going to wash my car. Then going for a look at the ducks in Bramhall Park. Then I might wash the car again. Endless possibilities mate.
