I am beginning to get withdrawal symptoms from live, in the stadium, football. Anyone reckon we will get a chance to see any footy this season? Now I have my jabs sorted I and a couple of mates are investigating the summer football leagues in the Baltic States to get a fix in before my old gits cheap ST for next season is bought and used.

In the meantime I will have to live with the shakes and sweats I suppose.

Is it time for the 55-59 jabs already?
    I've not heard anything.

Wycombe are probably doomed but there have been lot of decision gone against them. Plus Gareth. The dodgy sides I would like to see
    relegated deserve it..

Both clubs should get punished for that. If it was us involved we would get slaughtered.

They should refund Nuno Santo’s fine for saying he’s not up to the level.

Phoenix snap skid with win over Newcastle
    1 hour ago

Wellington Phoenix have dispatched Newcastle Jets 2-0 at McDonald Jones Stadium to record their second win of the A-League season on Sunday.

The result snaps a four-game winless streak and moves the side off the bottom of the A-League ladder.

Returning from a two-game suspension due to his red card against the Mariners, David Ball quickly made his presence felt, latching on to a pinpoint ball from Ulises Davila and getting a deflection off a defender to put the Phoenix ahead in the 22nd minute.

In the 53rd minute, NZ U-20s star Waine doubled the Phoenix lead with a long-range effort, after a deflected pass fell perfectly into his stride.

Coach Ufuk Talay was delighted with his team's character, particularly on defence, while singling out the goal-scorers for their efforts.

"They were very disciplined and they defended very well," Talay says. "Newcastle had a lot of ball, but not in areas where they could hurt us.

"I thought [Ball] was exceptional tonight. The amount of work [he] does on and off the ball especially. It’s always nice for your strikers to score, and I’m happy that he’ll grow from that.

"I'm also very pleased for [Waine], I'm sure he's very ecstatic about the goal he scored, he worked hard for the team as well."

Talay hopes the result will help his side - which is also dealing with the unique challenge of being based abroad - build some momentum.

    "It's been tough," he says.

"The boys have played three games in seven days, so the effort and the energy they put out tonight shows a lot about this team and about their character and the direction we want to head into.

"Obviously a win lifts the spirits of the team and builds confidence.

"Three points was the most important thing tonight, and that’ll build confidence for the players in the next games."

The Phoenix now return 'home' to take on first-placed Perth Glory - who are currently riding a three-game win streak - on March 7.

Hughes has suddenly become a more regular media pundit all of a sudden. Why am I thinking that he’s been applying left, right & centre for managerial jobs at clubs that match his ‘ambition’, but has subsequently discovered that these clubs don’t want to buy 30 new players all at once for over-inflated fees via that agent mate of his and then get relegated, has watched his bank balance dwindle and finally plumped for the punditry stuff?

    Believe it or not zone....
According to official stats Wolves’ Adama Traore weighs 72kg, which is the same as me and I’m skinny. He also says he never uses weights and his huge muscles are just ‘natural’. And who am I to dispute this?

Likewise the entire Bayern Munich squad seems to have bulked up amazingly in the last twelve months, even on loan Coutinho, who was a wisp at Liverpool and Barca, is now a beast.

What’s going on? Leon Goeretzka seems to be ready for a part in a Marvel movie

This has happened since lockdown started last March, and the bulk was in place in time for the Champions League final. As we all know you don’t need any artificial or illegal help to gain muscle mass that quickly.
