I won’t as I don’t work in that industry. You do realise this Unlicensed experimental gene therapy only reduces serious symptoms but doesn’t stop you catching or transmitting it.

What if the government decide to implement a civid passport meaning you can't go to a pub, restaurant, cinema, swimming, etc. without being vaccinated?

Nothing would surprise me with this government / country

Then you can try vote them out :)

People dont seem to get this about democracy anymore. We elect a dictator for a 5 year period backed by that dictators grip on seats. The yanks got thier trump moment yet even more morons tried to reelect him.

Put in loons and you get lunatic decisions.

So if you need a vaccine passport to leave your house then elect someone else.

Ill be voting for whoever ensures doctors, nurses, porters and caregivers protect the people they are caring for.

The every thought of morons thinking its fine to wander about infecting patients cos they are fine everyone else got it and i dont have to is stupid.

tbh it is more likely the Pub , restaurant chains etc do this themselves to increase confidence in their customers .

It’ll never be forced on anyone, that is just anti vax hyperbole. However, don’t be surprised if as time moves on some countries make it a condition of entry that you have an up to date COVID vaccination.

    Yup.

All those fools booking holidays right now are likely to be asked.

A lot of tourist destinations may need to play the vaccine card to get enough custom when the supports come off.

This question of forced vaccination is a complete red herring. As most of us have said, you must have the freedom of choice. I can choose to be a surgeon but if I want to pursue that career then I have to have a vaccine. This is not forced . It is about the path one chooses. If I am against flu vaccines (which a few anti-vaxxers are against) then I cannot work on a chemotherapy ward.

everyone has a choice and the freedom to refuse. But then some sensitive high risk occupations should be closed to them. I can’t see any controversy in it. No jab no job in some specific professions.

This is complete hyperbole and is used by moronic anti vaxxers. No one including me is in favour of FORCED vaccination.

Their priority will be getting bodies through the door. If this helps then yes, they'll do it. If it hampers their custom, they won't.

    Tourism numbers.

When all these places are taken of the teet of public money from whereever they need people to come.

A lot of people will travel regardless but not enough as the rest will know others cant be trusted. Imo vaccine passported resorts will be a thing if this blasted disease doesnt have the good grave to die like the vermin it is. :)

If tourism numbers are down, they aren't going to do something that would impact it further.

The numbers won't be down anyway. Far too many booking holidays in expectation of total freedom come 21 June. If tourism numbers are high, they'll definitely implement restrictions. Suspect they'll do it anyway tbh

It’s forced vaccination by the back door. It’s nothing to do with being anti vaccination. It’s like that arsehole who owns Pimlico Plumber saying any new employees have to have the injection.

You are entitled to your opinion. No one forces anyone to have the vaccination or even to work for Pimlico Plumbers.

The owner made a risk assessment and felt that the safety of his customers and staff is better ensured with his staff being vaccinated. No court in the land can stop him. Lots of people support him and most people all things being equal will choose his vaccinated staff to come into their homes.

Do you reckon, or in 12 months time will this be a distant memory.

Covid passports or certificates to get in a pub, the very idea is a joke, it will last for a month with everyone taking it very seriously, then it will go the way if most things, forgotten about as its a ball ache.

If company owners make the decision then I agree that it will be a short lived experience. However, if the government impose regulations, it'll be here to stay.
