Who’s the one that doesn’t get enough credit for how good they are? Vardy for me. Lad’s a ****in gunman. Owen a close second, could have been a goat if he didn’t have so many injuries.
I dunno if Vardy is underrated like, but he's easily the best player on that list so I voted for him. Andy Cole was class and often went completely underappreciated, even by his own club.
I think Vardy gets the hype he deserves nowadays but he really just came to everyone’s attention about 5 years ago and late into his career...sick player though. I’d say Jermain Defoe didn’t get the praise he deserved mainly because he played the majority of his career with us and we didn’t really achieve much but he scored bare goals, great goals, simple goals...162 PL goals in total...not to be sniffed at.
Not a fan of Fowler at all, had a few decent seasons and then disappeared. Was ****ing **** at every other club he played for and his final seasons at Liverpool. Cocaine ran dry probs
I dunno bowt that...hard to go unnoticed when your playing for United in their PL heyday...hard not to be when you score 182 PL goals imo
I always just felt he never got the accolades that some other strikers got, but it's partly his own fault because he was absolutely diabolically **** for England.
Owen would definitely have broken the England record if not for injuries imo. Not sure I'd class him as underrated though, wouldn't Cole or Vardy either. Probably Defoe from that list, though JFH is a worthy contender.
Wasn't JFH considered one of the best strikers ever? I heard about him when I was a kid and he was spoken about like a legend of the league, underrated I think not.
Lukaku. The man scored 1 in 2 in the PL from the age of 19. Some dickhead Blues used to give it, hEz lAzY dOh.
I’m not buying this Andy Cole was underrated argument There was lots of attention on his goal scoring exploits considering he was scoring important goals for United most weeks and his partnership with Yorke was plenty hyped and rightly so.
I don’t think folk think he’s ****, but what is he 2nd or 3rd all time TS? Sir Andrew Cole - make it happen.
