Tight budget. Back when noodles were 5p, beans were 9p and 10 fish fingers were 15p that's all we lived on. Oh and when Bean Sprouts were going out of date they were only 10p. <ok>

There are, however, rare disorders that can cause people to remain awake while experiencing rapid eye movement thus preventing brain deterioration; this allows for remaining awake for longer periods of time. I'm pretty sure these disorders also cause seizures and eventually death too though, so probably best to shy away from developing them too.

You could get 2 litres of cola as well for about 14p. It was ****ing rancid though and had an unfortunate habit of falling off the flyover. :(

It was only 5 years ago, shocked how much ASDA have put up their Smartprice range. It really annoys me now, especially how they raise prices dishonestly.

eg. Noodles at this point were 6p. Walk in the next day and see the tag '8p - was 10p'. LIES! <grr>

I worked in a shop about 5 years ago and at the end of each day whatever food had passed its date on the packet was supposed to be thrown in the bin, but all the staff just nicked the lot of it and took it home. It was usually fine for well over a week too depending on what it was. Used to get everything from whole chickens to birthday cakes, awesome.

See, I agree with that logic, want not waste not. I work in a shop and they're incredibly tight on that stuff. I've even been onto head office time and time again over our bread, we have to chuck it out.... when it still has two days on it's bbe (three if it's a saturday). Pisses me off so much!

    Oh and Obertan's really quick.

Yeah it's a disgrace. Especially when they have two dates, one for display until and one for use by; that sort of thing causes them to be thrown out even earlier. We weren't supposed to take it back with us either, everybody was threatened with the sack, but one of the main supervisors was something of a vigilante and would cover our asses while we made out with binbags full of perfectly good food.

I think eventually the head office implemented a system where it was sold to staff at lower prices but I'd left by then.

Just take it for free, that's what I do and I don't even work in a shop.

I had to pop out before so I didn't have time to elaborate, but now I'm back, I just want to clarify the ways in which this post is a load of ****bollocks.

1). Ranger is NOT the fastest sprinter. In fact, when I've watched him, he's been far from the fastest. He runs in an Ameobi sort of way tbh. Perhaps that's down to his lack of putting any effort in though.

2). Ba is not anywhere near as fast as our fastest players.

3). On the subject of fastest players, you haven't mentioned Obertan, which is frankly just stupid.

    Talkin' ****e son.
