Whilst watching that was akin to a prolonged punishment (and the players should be forced to sit through tomorrow, says I) I suppose Warbs should be happier than Ross Kemp at the result. Certainly, a game we would have lost just a few weeks ago.

Sky sports really is pony. The director of this game, while the ball was in play, constantly showed replays of absolutely nothing of interest and close ups of players and managers.
Whoever was in charge is a ****ing American Football fan.

"ugly to watch"? The last four games have been very entertaining.

That was a very tired performance. We have been treated to some wonderful results recently, so it feels like a bit of a kick in the teeth to only get a point. But looking back over the season, a tired performance like that usually resulted in a loss. It wasn't great, it wasnt even good but we didnt lose and that is a bonus.

I could bang on about Kanes crossing but I think we have all got used to it by now. It's either the best in the world or the most shocking ever seen, never inbetween. If he had a consistent cross and passing range then he wouldnt be playing for us!

Have to be content with the point after that performance. It's a shame we weren't on it as it was there for us. Still its an away point and another clean sheet.

Strikers really are a problem now, I just can't see Dykes or Bonne really coming good.

Kane had his usual interesting night. How do we manage to create so many crossing opportunities down the right and so few on the other side? Presumably Kane making himself available and getting into decent positions, it's just a shame his crossing is do wildly variable. I don't think he's getting much help from our strikers though. Wallace seems to be looking better these days and he can get a decent ball in, we just never seem to play down the left.

Got to make changes for Saturday hasn't he?

It’s a point. It’s a clean sheet. A game we would have expected to lose a couple of months ago.
I was surprised not to see some change in the starting line up, especially the way MW has (rightly) been banging in about fixture congestion. And, to be fair, a couple of players wouldn’t have been surprised to earn a start for a game.
On to Birmingham it is. 3pts anyone?

Not our night tonight. A game every three or so days is a big ask for any team in this division. ( Bar Norwich. ) I'm happy with the point, considering the tough conditions. Another clean sheet, I like our away kit, Dieng was superb again and we keep our non losing streak going. I've forgotten this game already, It's Birmingham away on Saturday. Given our position and performances back in December, I'm happy that we are where we are.

Cardiff have shown what a run can do.
I'm not saying we will make the playoffs but it's certainly not impossible.

I'm really surprised at the negativity on here. A month ago we were in a relegation battle apparently but now we're disappointed with a clean sheet and a decent point at Preston.
I notice we've just gone above Blackburn. Who'd have seen that a month ago?

Yes, after a few wins, l'm happy to take a point.
We are out of danger for the time being.
Truth is, its all about where we stand to the bottom teams, not the top ones.

Yeh 6 wins out of 7 and suddenly Warburton should have changed the start 11, and our Bench is awfull.... We were lucky their finishing was worse than ours, but still we managed a clean sheet again. He probably will have to rest tired legs and heads soon, but hopefully the likes of Willock, Albert, Field and Bettache will be fresh, straining at the leash to start, and can play longer than the 20 minutes or so they have done so far.

I would have expected drip-fed changes to keep the core of the team similar for continuity. Hopefully not wholesale changes which come at a loss of results and form. Things are good so far, so let’s keep it going team! C’mon u rrrrr’s.

I'm not going to be ( very) negative.
It was not good. We left with a point. We are on 40 points...do you remember before Christmas when we were plummeting and would have given our eye teeth for a point and a clean sheet at Preston.

The conditions were appalling with the wind and rain. The match was close to be called off...I expect managers and ref were aware there is no longer little space for rearranged matches, and that may have clouded or cleared their view.

A clean sheet....I am no longer hiding behind the sofa every time the opp get a corner..

Ball had a pretty decent game as did Johansen and Dickie.

Kane after a couple of ok games did not...some of that was the weather...some of it wasn't.

He does get a lot of space...we are upset because he had say about 10-12 crosses, 9-11 of which were pretty dire.

I am interested to know would Kakay make the same space and the same number of crosses and would he be better...and would he be as good as Kane defensively too???

No I don't know the answer... perhaps Warbs does...???

But occasionally Kane really can do it....his cross to Wallace for the goal versus Bournemouth was first class.

Anyway..our last great run finished with a thumping loss to Preston, we got a point.
Preston are purveyors of the dark arts, if we had gone a goal down last night we would never have come back.

We are on 40 points and no longer peering over our shoulder...

Be happy...did you really want to go up this year.?..what I want is to consolidate our players into a team...keep most of them (Dickie, Dieng, Johansen, Field, Chair, Barbet, Austin, Willock) ...and next season, I want to watch us really go for it

Some peoples disappointment at a point last night was based on our recent results. That's the form guide for you, Preston are a bizarre team at the best of times. We have been treated this month to some fantastic results. We grind out a point away and it feels disappointing, when in reality it continues our good form. Warbs surely has to get manager of the month.

Happy with a point and still unbeaten in 5 games. To think it was only 6 weeks ago I was calling for MW head and now he has turned things around. <applause>
Getting Charlie in was a masterstroke. 9 points off the play-offs with 2 games in hand... happy days.
I won't get into the Kane argument but it's not happening for Dykes. He needs to start scoring... that's what forwards do.
