Joe Williams suggested last night that he is going to be out for some time on social media, he had those scans on his hamstring. Are we likely to see him at all this season? I’ll be honest with you, I heard about this statement that went on social media last night. I’m told that he said ‘I’m delighted to finally get to the bottom of what the issue is,’ well I don’t actually know what the issue is because I haven’t been told. I’m not trying to duck the question, but I know nothing more. The last I heard was that he had another scan, there was something strange on it that was going to be sent away to be assessed, and I don’t know anymore. If Joe knows something, I haven’t seen Joe since early last week. I’m really sorry but I can’t say anymore because I don’t know any more about it.

Good evening, all. Thank you for the kind messages and warm welcome. I'm delighted to be back in management and working for @BristolCity, a proud, progressive football club. I will give my all to improve our fortunes. Cheers, Nige. #BristolCity
cor blimey that was quick ..panic stations at the gate! off the grid for a couple of days, still had migraine [ need to consult doctor! rare for me ] and also very busy sorting ebay orders ...67 of them.. Taken a while to get head round appointment ...think I have it right . taken on for 16 games [ end of season] bit like Neil did! Working with existing staff, at least till end of season. Got title of manager as opposed to head coach, but obviously wont have the "range of chores" as such in that time! what will happen with the 2 ex ENGLAND coach's? [we seem to get them and then discard? ] Probably write off 3 points tonight unless the coach's come good and players actually respond. Danger is IMO, taken on as manager in the summer will he do a clear out... does he appreciate the academy? …. is SL et al chucking all the foundations on solid ground to move them to swampy ground! We do have a fantastic set up at AG, although some will choose not to see it, cant see it or don't care about it. Any business only succeeds on a firm setting, although football is more dynamic and relies on the human element to get the end result, having an academy and using those players is an integral part. When you see prem clubs existing by having a few 100 k a year share out... after a while they sink, it becomes a spend only to lose money. CITY has chosen a path of stability, OK ...LJ was instrumental in doing a lot of good with innovations etc … the strategic plan of continuity with DH has not worked … be fair injuries in double figures and repeat injuries was never going to be a route to success … A NEW CHAPTER, … well for now the preface ….. let 2021/22 start here
Well i have done the rounds on Social Media and fans from every club he has been a part of-highly recommend him-SL finally getting a proven-experienced-respected guy in. I see a massive influx of ST renewals coming exciting times.
well don't get too excited we do not know who are coach or manager will be at the start of next season there may be issues? he may want to bring in own backroom staff.. or get rid of … or buy in …… and we could be looking at breaking all our standfast safety nets ref FFP …. To me every manager/ coach deserves a fair crack at the whip ..indeed in any business … point is when does/ why does that point get reached … it is like the x in the box can never be concluded ….
If NP does the business and he likes it here-SL has said funds will be available-i do believe the two amigos will fly the nest and hopefully Ashton goes with them.
good way of keeping in the spotlight …. till the summer and can then look at what other offers are on the board!
