So, we're in a fight. Not the fight we want to be in but a fight nonetheless - so we need to show some balls, stop whingeing and just get on with it, players and fans alike.
    We could start here.

Sheff U will be without their back 3 now Basham has joined their injury list. Meaning 38 yr old Jags will be leading their back line.

Just proves how good klopp is. Sheff United have no defenders and are bottom. We have none and are 6th <whistle>

That's ok - I could stop our forwards scoring atm.

It doesnt matter how old jags is.

Just show firmino on his left.

Keep 8 men in a line at the back.

Laugh as salah stays 40 yards from goal trying to assist to a penalty area with nobody in it

Hopefully they make a stupid error and it falls to salah not firmino

    Ok I've a suggested team.

    Alisson
Trent Phillips Kabak Roberston (full backs must be ordered to go forward and stay wide and high)
Wijnaldum Thiago (these two need to be ordered to SIT and not wander off to proect the two behind)
Shaqiri Kieta (these two would be under orders to press but stay central to pick the passes in to the front 2)
Salah Mane (thse two should get i nthe box and run behind no matter how little space. don't run away from goal.)

    4222

can put jones on WHEN (not if) keita pulls up.
if fabinho gets fit he can come in for wijnaldum for example
if henderson plays again this season (who knows) then he can replace thiago

This is really a 2 CB, 2 CMs who used to play CB minding the house. " full back wingers. 2 CMS to press and 2 forwards to focus solely on getting in the frigging box.

It might be far too narrow but it gives 2 attacking CMS license to link play and make passes in to the forwards.

anything bar continue the way we are going.

Exactly this. The problem is that the ball is constantly falling to Bobby or an out of form Mane. We need Salah in the box and playing centrally now.

    see sheff utd at home.

he spent half the game out right anyway but at least he is "freed" form tracking back or covering wide so can be stood up front for a ball over the top.

At least we can bloody mix it up a bit.

Yep. I think it was last season or the year before when we played some games with 4231, and he was central and he scored goals. We simply need him in the box because a) he's our best goal scorer and b) one of our best creators.

Is it right that someone so 'out of shape' should be a Premier League ref?

Even more important to move Fabinho back into midfield to give us proper protection, and is a natural ball winner.
