Got some nice beef/pork burgers under the grill, 2/3 beef 1/3 pork mince, seasoned two with chilli and two with garlic and mint. Will have with soft Warburtons buns, salad and other burger condiments for selection will be things like coleslaw, sweet pickle, relish, raw onion, some other **** I find & plastic & real cheese. I may even make a Branston pickle burger, unsire of that yet but it came to me while making tea a min ago so could be a sign from a higher power. Gonna be epic. Pics soon
Onions, garlic, chilli, ginger, cumin, coriander, garam masala. Chuck in a tin of tomatoes and reduce it all down to a thick sticky paste. Fry off some cubes of haloumi in a separate pan Lob in the spinach, add a bit more garam masala and reduce it all down again to a thick paste until it’s almost sticking to the pan. At that point stir in half a small tub of single cream Serve it up with a toasted naan
Yeah Haloumi at the same time as the cream, to keep it crispy on the edges. Only started using Haloumi as I couldn’t get Paneer when I first moved to cornwall. But prefer it now. Curry was ****ing tasty af bro. Shout to @Spurlock for the headz up with the Raja spices.
Was just going to ask why you didn’t use paneer, but you answered it. Bet you can cut down on salt, nice and squeaky/salty
I put a little bit of bouillon in with the tomatoes, but probs only a teaspoon. But yeah it doesn’t need any more salt as like you say the Haloumi is salty enough.
i know little about indian style cooking, other than making blow your head of ****e. but that looks canny.
Cheers bru. Yeah it’s a good blend, gonna order up some different spices from them. Dunno if Ginge has posted it on here, but he sent me a pic of a Tandoori Masala mix that he was ready to grind up. Next level shiz.
Looks nice but there didn't look like there was much of the spices in there? I'd have used twice that amount. Other than the garam massala that it but defo more cumin and coriander. Looks lovely though.
