Would this be a good time to start talking about our team and football? Whatever our differing views on Bruce it is a stone wall certainty that it will be Bruce who leads us out on Sunday so any talk of who replaces him is hypothetical. Who we buy in January is again of no consequence to Sundays team all we know for sure is we play on Sunday and Bendtner does not. Some very big calls for Bruce this weekend and calls he needs to get right because Arsenal are there for the taking, a point is the least we should expect. In goal it will be Mig, oh how I wish the big Scot was back. Big call number 1 is the back 4, Bardsley is back but does he play and who drops out, for me he does and Richardson moves. Midfield, Larsson yes but who with? I give up on seeing Sess there because Bruce does not but for me thatâs the place for Richardson. Up front is it Sess alone or Sess and Ji/Wickham, a no brainer to me but going of the past few games, I dosnt have a brain. I can see Bruce going 4-5-1 but I would go 4-4-1-1, the sight of a 5 foot Sess running at a 7 foot Makansaker, or whatever he is called should give Larsson lots of free kicks. My team, I doubt if it will be Brucies, would be.. MIG OâSHEA..TURNER..BROWN..BARDO LARSSON..VAUGHAN..COLBACK..RICHARDSON SESS JI/WICKHAM (cant decide)
Decent team syd agree with Richardson on the LW he is after all a left winger. Think I'd give Catts the nod over Colback but have Colback stripped ready to go if Catts gets a card. As for who in front of Sess (it's how Bruce will play it) I'd go for Ji he has scored already and has played well for his country. To be fair Arsenal are the wounded animal here and the pressure will all be theirs so if we can get at them from the off who knows we could nick a point. Not expecting great things or a great game for that matter so no pressure on Bruce for me and not a game for him to be judged on.
Syd, i think he will go with Sess on his own! and swamp the midfield. I also think he will keep Catts in the team: Mig O'Shea, Turner, Brown, Bardo Elmo, Catts, Vaughan, Richardson, Larsson Sess
I may be tempted to swap Richardson and sess around in that team, or have them interchange in the match depending on the situation. a scrappy 0-0 will do me though, Arsenal are hurting atm, so we could get a good hiding.
I'd go with: --------------- Mig --------------- Bardo - O'Shea - Brown - Richardson ------------- Catts --------------- ----- Larsson - Gardner - Sess ----- ----------- Ji - Wickham ----------- Ricco's no FB, but he's quick so he's in there. Turner's too slow to even think about playing the Arse. Catts can play in front of the back 4, not so much of a sweeper as a disruptor. Need two strikers to have a threat, so that's a no-brainer for me, with a bit of creativity behind them. Still think we'd lose, but at least we go down fighting.
I would go with --------------------------Mig------------------------- Elmo----------O`Shea--------Brown----------Bardo -------------------------Catts------------------------ ----------Larsson------Meyler-----Vaughan--------- --------------------------Sess----------------------- ---------------------------Ji------------------------- Ricco Turner Westwood Whickham Gardner Colback McClean
-----------Mig---------- O'Shea-Turner-Brown-Bardo Elmo-Sess-Vaughan-Larsson ------Wickham-Ji--------
Yeah Bardo is back... Suspension: Brighton (league cup) Stoke Norwich WBA I believe that is 4 games. Maybe I'm wrong ha! But my team would be (although we all know it won't be this) ..............Westwood........... O'Shea..Turner..Brown..Bardo Lars...Catts...Gardner...Richo ..........Sess...Wickham........ Yes its a 4-4-2, but for me that looks balanced. Players in their correct positions, a LW playing LW. How often have we said that??? We all know this won't be the team though
Your right mate Bardo is still bannned for this one that's everyones team gone the journey now, could be worse though I think. What about this Laing lad anyone know if he would be up to it?
