Also a win for Charlton tomorrow will be most tedious, because the Bowyer supporters "will be crowing and telling us the run begins now". How unseemly. For fans to celebrate a win and be optimistic about the next few results
I don’t know how you do it over there , I know a lot of the fellas over there are ok but it’s the same half a dozen that go on and on about how ****e everything is and demand instant success , expecting new players to hit the floor running and gel immediately. It’s not worth putting your head over the wall to say something coz it just gets jumped on. Well done Lardy for sticking at it mate you deserve a medal
At the moment I can quite understand that mate , the sooner the Wrexham transfer goes through the better - and maybe some brown noses will follow
Some of the posters on there seem scared of Reams. Some of the ****e he and his acolytes post needs challenging. I am afraid that Shady Tree seems to have been neutered. Why so many people post on that forum is beyond me. If you challenge Reams you get a mouthful of abuse.
The secret I've found is not to take it too seriously. I get a bit spiky there sometimes when I'm in a low mood (like I do over here ). But generally I try to keep my posts a little bit wry. A trick I learned mostly from Royston I'm content to back off or cool off if it gets a bit heavy. But most other members there take things in generally good heart I think.
ITTV at 9pm tomorrow night if we win. Hardly any posts. If we lose or draw, thirty five threads started, thirty four from Reams, saying that Bowyer is a ****, Gallen is a **** and Sandgaard is a ****.
So we need to touch wood cross fingers and hope that we win. I've got a black cat. Is that lucky or unlucky?
It's worth bearing in mind that even all the regular posters on CL still represent only about 1 in 50 of the fans who regularly went to the Valley for a home game. But if the solid majority view on CL is now that Bowyer should go, that can't be dismissed too lightly.
