In terms of the post, here's my case - one of those players, Armstrong, didn't make it in the PL with Newcastle. He regularly looked out of his depth and never looked like he would fulfil promise. The other managed 2 PL apps for Newcastle and was sold without making an impact. Both have since played a number of games in L1 and Champ: - Arma has played 139 times, with 49 goals, 29 of which came in League one - Toney has played 248 games, scoring 100 goals with a quarter - 24 - coming in his ONLY season in the Championship, meaning 76% of his goals are L1 or lower - This means neither players has even scored half as many goals at Champ or higher level than Watkins has. Ollie Watkins managed 132 games in the Champ scoring 45 goals, then has 22 apps and 10 goals in the PL so far. Neither other player has ever scored in the PL. They might make it - and by "make it", I mean be successful at Premier League level - or they might not. Nobody knows, and only time will tell.
