He's rash in the tackle, gives away freekicks and gets yellow cards He keeps losing his man He's an accident waiting to happen, he's just a fancy version of Lovren.
Yeah you are right that it's a bit of quality from James and a good finish from Richardson. Credit to them. But the issue is still with us for making a bad error knocking it back then not reacting to anything. Contrast to firmino taking a touch rather than hitting that chance first time. That sums us up imo. He hits that first time on goal and we are level.he doesn't.
Souness right... probs have been midfield this game and many a game. Listen there's a caveat to my criticism... we don't have the direct replacements for the injuries or sub par performances ...better than other teams in league...yeah sure... but to win it? No way. I personally don't see the benefits to ****ing our midfield and hence attack to have a just average defence... and now we don't have been that. Time to just go gung-ho again... pressure is off, we aren't winning the league... rather lose going full throttle with a dodgy defence than just mweh... its for this season only like....
He's got a yellow cos James has a high boot but ref decides to him James the free then lectures kabak as a warning. He's looking at the ball and steps on Coleman heel who then makes a total meal of it. Ref is at least consistent per gomes and pulls the yellow even if it's rubbish. I think it's a wee bit harsh on a 20 year old. The good news is Phillips comes in and wins every header and does nothing wrong. It is incredibly frustrating to see the lcb running about, playing right wing at times, midfield etc etc trying to drive the side on. Our3 cms should be ashamed. Imo Phillips and kayak are no issue at all. Get the midfield passing and running
Just that our problems are weak midfield... no pace or creation in attack... no urgency or grift without ball.
For this Jan and how late we left it (another mistake) he is acceptable. However we should be aiming for better than just 'he might come good' in the summer.
Imo the difference is Richardson had the time on there to set and hit a lovely shot but firmino had no confidence to it first time. That's about it here Everton are in their shell
Good job var checked that offside... was close one. I’d feel really **** if I was the lino who flagged someone 20 yards offside and had to wait for someone to watch a replay to verify my opinion lol
I swear to god, we have no luck when it comes to the league this season. The amount of times the ball bounces to an Everton player instead of one of ours.
