It feels like more of a kick in the teeth because we led by two goals, but outside of the context of the match, a point at Doncaster is decent. Inside the context of the match, it's a tactical nightmare from the manager after getting it so right against Wigan. We barely touched the ball second half and that's unacceptable, there's no need to treat Doncaster like Manchester City and try and nick a goal, especially when you're already in front. We didn't even try to catch them on the counter, we just didn't leave anybody forward at all, which is baffling to say the least. To keep automatic hopes alive, Ipswich on Tuesday is a must win, as is Wimbledon a week today.
Agreed, he had the lads at the side often enough to get them to change shape. Unfortunately he doesn’t appear to know anything else!
If we did, we'd only be able to recall him during a transfer window. As it happens, we released him and he signed for Fleetwood permanently. So. No, he isn't coming back.
The injuries were key to us dropping the points. Ref lost it in the second half. Bit unlucky off the woodwork again.
I suspect that is what GM will say and of course blame the ref but it's not helpful. Of course we were unlucky with injuries but we hardly touched the ball 2nd half even before Docherty went off.
What people Howden? Nobody else has been involved in this argument(I've made a point of not responding to the bating for weeks because it's not worth the hassle)but when Quill starts blaming people for ganging up,you're o.k because you're not serious? And we're all nasty bullying ****ers!!!
Do we really have strength in depth in this squad? Not from what I see. Unless of course it is the lack of tactical nous?
I’m looking for the Terry out thread ffs Ridiculous ****ing management they pushed us back and credit to Darren Moore And our team are looking for help from the manager as to how to combat it and they get nothing Well just carry on We were wide open even when doc and honeyman were still there Slater is ****e anyway but at least should have stuck another cm in there And later McLoughlin on three big centre half’s to combat the balls into the box so ****ing annoying this we are ultimately going to fall short due to his tactics and lack of flexibility
Aah, I didn't realise it was a permanent deal. Sod's law Smallwood gets crocked almost immediately afterwards.
