Ahh but the problem is, if I miss the game we usually ( a good 90%) win. The only games I have watched this season were Sunderland, half of Stoke, and Tottenham. But if there is any game I want to watch it is this one!! Do I do what is best for the team or be individual about this, hmmmm..........
How painful was that! You could feel it coming though, you just knew Spurs would be up for it, just didn't think it was going to be that bad of a thumping.
It was a very painful end to a good weekend in London. Worst performance I've seen by a mile in all the time I've been going to matches, truly dreadful.
Ah well, at least we hopefully learned something from it and moved on. If we can beat United, there are 3 very winnable games right after that if we get maximum points can be right up amongst the top 3 again. ( Not that we are far off now, but closer/tied on points/etc)
I have the same feeling Just looking forward to seeing the line-up as we really need to get that 100% right.
Because it's one game between two teams and so you have a 50/50 chance? I also have a sneaky feeling we might win.
It was the same last season. In and around playing chelsea away and United at home you had some very easy games. you won 1 of them.
I mean the likes of Gerrard and Bellamy starting. I wont be comfortable if we go with the usual Adam, Lucas, Hendo combo...
I think we discussed this ( you might have been involved, probably) about how it used to be the big teams we used to lose to and how we couldn't compete with them. Now it is reveresed, we can compete with and beat the top 6 teams but then turn around and drop points to the teams we are meant to beat. It's a vicious cycle.
In the words of my forefathers.... F*** that for a laugh! Other than Lucas I want to see Gerrard with Bellamy or Suarez in the AM/SS role. I want movement, silky, sexual, titilating football..... which somehow involves Kuyt's mug.
I don't say word one to him. He just drags down debate and says some dumb stuff. Add that to that heart attack comment, I have family members who have died from it and I have a slight heart condition ( nothing serious, just have to know I have it for when I am older), he can go f*** himself.
No chance of Henderson starting. Don't be surprised to see Kenny go with Lucas, Adam and Gerrard with Adam and Gerrard alternating between bombing forward and sitting. Thats unless Kenny decides to put Gerrard and Lucas together, telling both not to move, and Suarez plays as the spare man, and Carroll plays up front by himself with the rest hitting him thus allowing Liverpool to hit Man United with bombs.
What the **** is a bomb? Is it a lyric? Is Suarez and Carroll gonna break lay down some lyrics. The new daphne and celeste?
Yeah there is a good chance Lucas and Adam will play and Gerrard will play in the hole with Suarez having a free roaming role up-front. With Bellamy and Downing on the flanks. That's what I would like to see anyway...
