No one is saying remove the report button. But I believe it is being mis-used by posters who have a personal vendetta against other individuals and are using it to get posters in trouble and ultimately banned from the forum. IMO that goes way beyond winding someone up. Instead of pressing the report button, individuals can either press ignore button or PM their own mods to see if they can have a word and sort it out that way.
since 2011 i have used the report button once not for me but for a 75 year old poster who had the audacity to place a witty comment against a raging remainer who took the hump because all the posters were laughing at him after the old guys post, he hounded that old guy on every post he tried to contribute on, after the report he was banned. Sadly the old guy passed away last year, a lovely guy who wouldn't hurt a fly , he just had a great sense of humour, something a lot of the loony left are devoid of and learn to be more laid back
yes mate but unfortunately lefties want to use it when they are but hurt and cant compete, because mammy tells them they are the worlds best instead of the truth, like schools sports day now is not competitive anymore, as lefty training makes them upset if they don't win. Probably why there are so many influencers with large followings on Facebook twitter and the rest, they are so devoid of life's real experiences, they have to look for someone else's. its only when they finally emerge in the real word and find it hard they have no life skills to be able to handle it, suicides because someone said something nasty i despair of how life is changing
I very much doubt it was a Leeds mod Rog. After all they came up with ‘not for the faint hearted’ for this thread so they know that anything goes on here. In any case they would have said if it was one of them. So someone’s lying....hmmm...wonder who that could be
To be honest don't understand why there's a report button myself, it's a bit of banter surely if you don't like what you've read or what you have perceived as a slight said against you just block the poster or fire back.....if you're not that way inclined I'd stick to threads that are maybe less of a combustible nature. snowflakes are usually givers but not takers
