Surely a member club though can't claim compensation for loss of value?

Surely the case raised against the PL, would go on to the Courts if both parties either didn't initially agree to go to arbitration beforehand or the complainant doesn’t agreed to abide by the ruling?

This is surely a legal case and not merely part of an internal PL process?

Also Mike Ashley is the sole owner of NUFC isn’t he? So why would any case for compensation have to be in his name when it’d be the devaluation of the business that’d be his issue? Don’t get your logic on either point there tbh.

Ok let’s say I’m convinced now but I hope to see proof in the pudding soon.

Fact remains that in 6 weeks time we will know whether we are actually in serious trouble (Prem survival)

Here’s a point which may be of some benefit to us getting relegated. If we did go down. The price that PIF pay would drop to say 200m.

Let’s say the deal goes ahead straight after the season end. And they convince our better players to stay. They have £150m to spend on players. The only loser is MA.

We get a fun season in the championship.

No they can't. That is why compensation is not the reason.

What is your speciality in RL mate: in terms of work?

I can’t believe we are all still talking about a takeover.

    However....

"The Club makes no comment on the substance of the arbitration, but it can confirm that it has issued arbitration proceedings against the EPL.

"It is unclear when those proceedings will be resolved, given the approach of the EPL and its lawyers, Bird & Bird. Nevertheless, the Club will continue to use its best efforts to press for a fair, full and timely hearing of its claim.”

What does it mean by “claim”. You usually claim for losses?

Yet some say it's not started
Some say that it was starting the week NDM meet with NUFC when we played Arsenal.

    Wish they were transparent

Ashley wouldn't just say oh well never mind I've lose 150 million..

He's offer a pathetic discount maybe and the Saudis will buy west ham instead.

He would just sell Wilson, max, Dubravka and Wilson and and maybe bring one or two replacements in for half what he gets.. He'd try and get us promoted and then wait for another buyer.

I agree. I suppose the actual case was started per 19 November but the actual hearing who knows when or how long that takes?

Surely they have to set some form of timeframe unless a party could just drag it out to suit their needs. I.e the PL seeing how close to relegation we get?

    It’s all rotten!

    No he won't.

You're confusing Mike Ashley the ruthless businessman who would **** on his own grandma
With the Mike Ashley running a football club

You are missing the important bit.
For the first time he's openly said he wants out of NUFC.
The other times it was just the press BS.

Sorry but it seems to me that the fans having ignored every red flag from dismissing human right, piracy the WTO report and Mbs being the link to the state to now the latest one which is relegation wont matter either..
